If I remember correctly last summer you tackled 3 sections in one window? Do you have any tips on how you handled that? I know you have kids which makes it even more of a challenge than myself but I am thinking about aiming for 3 next window as I have a big milestone birthday coming up and I so wanted to be done with this before then so I want to just go for it and see if I can make it happen or not.

If anyone else has advice on this I would love to hear from you!

Honestly – I wouldn't do it again and I wouldn't recommend it. My hubby was laid off at the time, so he was home taking care of the kids and running the house. I was never home. I was always the the library and studied pretty much every second I had spare.

If you can dedicate yourself to doing this full time then got for it. If you can't don't.

I wouldn't put a deadline to have this done. I've done that numerous times and my deadline keeps getting extended. At this point, when I'm done, I'm done.

    Good Luck!!

I've taken 3 exams in one window, REG, FAR, AUD. But I had already taken REG in the previous window and failed with a 71, so I didn't have to study as much for that one. I had also already passed AUD before and lost credit, so again studying for it wasnt that bad. It was my first time taking FAR though.

I think if you are going to take three in one window, then take advantage of the black out month before so that you can take the first exam as close the beginning of the window as possible. Also, stay really focused on whatever the next exam is and dont even think about the other exams you plan on taking that window. Just focus on one at a time, and before you know it, its the end of the window and you've knocked them all out. If you keep thinking “im taking 3 in one window” then you are going to get overwhelmed and psych yourself out. If you keep thinking “FAR FAR FAR FAR” until you take FAR, and then the day after you take FAR, just keep thinking “REG REG REG REG REG” then you wont even realize that you've taken 3 in one window.

Hi Acct!! My studying is going well, I kinda got a monkey wrench thrown into the mix today though, my Grandpa passed away. He has been pretty ill so this really is a blessing but still heartbreaking for my Grandma. So I am taking today off and I will get back to studying tomorrow. I take AUD on Tuesday, I know so many people don't like this section but I do like the material…don't usually do well on the test though. The last time I took this section I walked out thinking I totally had passed, I thought I rocked it and I ended up getting the worst score out of any I had gotten before. So I do like the material which makes the studying easier. I have seen many people suggest to use the research for the other SIMS and that is an awesome idea that I will be trying out. For next window I am hoping I passed AUD and then I will take the other sections, I just took FAR not too long ago and was pretty close so I am hoping the material is still fresh in my head.

I am sorry to hear this news. My condolences to you, as well. I understand the mixed emotions…

I think AUD was my favorite (and I work in tax)! I also took it after FAR. Yes, you should definitely try to make as much use of the authoritative literature as you can. It benefited me greatly.

Good luck with AUD next week!! I hope you pass these exams quickly!!
