Pretty sure that just confirmed my thoughts that we are DEFINITELY borderline scores. UGH! Oh well, a pass is a pass so I will take a 75 even!

@dousugar Last time I took BEC, my score was released a day later than everyone else. I got a 74. I wasn't the only one. They basically release those that definitely passed and those that definitely failed. Those in the middle need extra evaluation because of the written portion

Hey everyone,

Ive been following this thread which has helped me a lot just like others! I am waiting on my last part BEC and in NY. (471)

Based upon the fact that others received passing scores above 80 with higher numbers (473, etc), I assume that I failed , but then again I don’t know because I haven’t heard people getting 75, 76, 77 either. We just need a 75!  I have been struggling with this exam since 2008. Passed BEC and lost it and now its my last part.

Its hard to think that id have to wait another week for scores to come out!! good luck to all of you

If i don't pass BEC which i have taken too many times to even count – all scores between 70 and 73 – i lose FAR….. I NEED this part!!! Here's to hoping that they are releasing various NTS' at different times. Haven't heard anyone with a 474 for BEC yet, so hoping i'm well over the Cusp

I'm getting married in 3 months. It was my goal to have this test finished with enough time to plan a wedding. If I fail BEC I am going to be cutting it way too close. 🙁

@Jenn…I am getting married in 10 months so i know the feeling. Definitely want this out of the way before the wedding. Talked to NASBA again and the guy just said to wait until next Wednesday which I might do because this is way too agonizing. So I am signing off!

Your theory may be right, but I doubt it is because of the written portion even though I would expect that's the only difficult part to grade.

I got a 73 on my last BEC score and it was a day or two later than some other scores had come out. My report said that I did stronger on the written portion than the average passing candidate though. The only way if my score was close, that I didn't get a 75+, had to be because of the MC since I did well on the essays.
