Received an email today from NASBA Saying:

“Registration Now Open for Sept. 10th CPA Exam Testing Day”

Prometric opens registration for CPA Exam Testing Day on Sunday, September 10. Schedule today!
Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are available now at select locations.

Visit Prometric.com/CPA to see the available appointments near you and schedule your test today.

Thanks NASBA…first I need you to release my score that I took back in MAY… *eyeroll* Don’t they all know we’re waiting for the score release before we can sign up again?! Its just cruel.

I was wondering the same thing.. and was actually contemplating if I should sign up for AUD on 9/10 if I fail in a couple days. I'm taking FAR 9/08 lol

It worked out for me. I haven't felt comfortable with my BEC study so far, so it prompted me to reschedule for Sept 7th.

I was already scheduled to take BEC on the 8th, which was the last day available at my Prometric since the 10th falls on a Sunday. If they were going to do this, I wish they would have decided to extend and open a Sunday window a while ago instead of waiting until now. I feel like that is not enough time for people to retake a section if they find out they fail tomorrow, at least not for FAR or REG.

It means NASBA is saying we need your dollar ,this window was bad revenue for us due to prolonged wait for result .Every dollar will be appreciated.

I got it too and I am set for FAR on Sept 8th but was excited that I could get Sept 10th to have a Saturday to review, but there isn't any times available even at the next 5 closest to me and that includes Washington DC. I wonder if they were taken that fast or really not made available yet.

I got the email too. I'm already taking another (and hopefully my last) exam in September. If for whatever reason I didn't pass the Q2 exam, I wouldn't reschedule it until Q4 anyway. Wouldn't make sense to schedule it in and risk messing up my already scheduled section.

Haha you guys are so funny. It's entertaining to read the comments:)

I got the email and wondered if that meant they released scores early…. of course not. Hopefully they didn't open the extra slots up yet because the whole point of them was supposed to be for Q2 people receiving their scores so late

    BEC - exp 2/28/13 (crap)
    AUD - exp 11/30/13
