Hello CPA-Go,

For FAR, I used Becker self-study, and supplemented it with the Wiley test-bank. I studied for about 6 weeks (full-time), including watching all of the lectures and doing all of the homework problems and simulations. I allowed two weeks for my final review, during which I re-did all of the homework problems and simulations, and also practiced a bunch of Wiley MCQ's. I used this same study method for all my exams. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about studying for FAR, as I enjoyed studying for that exam (as well as BEC) way more than the other two.

According to ILBOA:

The third phase of the score release cycle for exam dates November 14 – 30 will occur sometime AFTER December 8. The AICPA has not provided the exact dates.

Waiting for REG is awful. If I have to study over the holidays for this thing I will be quite peeved.

Simulations left me frustrated from that exam…hoping for a pass so I can festivus for the restivus and bar crawl this saturday in peace.

Kasia and letsfixthis…noticed you two are waiting for REG as well. Good luck!

@bobkorz, don't listen to what IL is saying since the AICPA DID give an exact date. I think the ILBOA just wants to prevent us from hitting refresh compulsively once the NASBA tweet comes out.

@ppierce, That's right. I'm not bothering with ILBOA today. My plan is to troll Another71 and cheer on my cyber family members from NASBA states today and hopefully, tomorrow I'll see the score atound 8AM and POSSIBLY breathe a sign of relief after seeing the REG score.
