So I finally passed in NY and I wanted to know a couple of things as follows:

    1) How long will it take to get my my congrats letter?

    2) Can I start filling out all of the paper work (I can retrieve from the NASBA website)?

    3) How long should this entire process take?

    4) How do I obtain AICPA membership?

Lastly, I am shocked my new employer does not pay for any CPA fees or AICPA memberships! Thanks in advance for all of your help.

    Hey know it.none…

I'm in the same boat as you…I dl the forms on the nys professional licensing service website (not NASBA) This website is for doctors, cpas, nurse, pharmacist, etc…

You can submit the form 4 and have your employer do the form 4 b. Make a list of all your old employers since you graduated and employment dates…get a passport style 2×2 photo……just make sure the dates are in sync on your form 4 and the one the form 4b . I think it take 2-3 months to finally get the license…I looked around on some other accounting forum for ny wait.

I'm going.to bug my ex boss to sign off on my exp.after tax season is over.

    NEW YORK- DONE
