I may be able to find the answer to this question elsewhere but I figured I’d get a direct response from one of the knowledgable users of this site… Hypothetical: If I take FAR January 3 2012 (first 20 day window of testing period) and receive my score February 3 2012 only to find out I failed, is it possible to reapply for my NTS and take FAR in late February before the testing window expires? Or will I have to wait until the April-May window??

Unfortunately, you will have to wait till the next window. You are only allowed to sit for an exam(specific exam, i.e. BEC) once

a window.

Unless anything has changed very recently you are only allowed to take each section once per testing window meaning if you took it Jan 3 the soonest you'd be able to retake it is April 2.
