I’m trying to see if anyone was able to get any information concerning the recent exams that were canceled. I’m afraid that I am not going to be able to take the exam before the end of the testing window. I still have not received the “e-mail” from prometric that I was promised to reschedule the exam.

Does anyone have any information concerning this issue? Prometric does not accept calls over the weekend. You would think they would make an exception considering this weekends events

I decided to reschedule my exam when I saw on line my center was closed for today 8/28. This was on Friday night 8/26 after I received a confirmation e-mail from Prometric that morning confirming my appointment.

As soon as I paid the $66 for rescheduling so close to the date, I received a center closing notice e-mail from Prometric ….and that I will be contacted later to reschedule. As AICPA has not extended the testing window in September, I did not want to risk of not finding a spot at the testing center or at a time when I cannot take time off because of work.

I will contact Prometric and I am sure I will be reimbursed for the rescheduling fee.This is what the local testing center said to me.

Call this number at prometric if your exam was canceled due to Irene. Be prepared to be put on hold for a long time and have your prometric confirmation # with you. I was able to reschedule for Wed. the 31st.
