I have until 08/03/2013 before my Audit score expires. I have only one exam section left to pass. Can I take the test any time before 08/03/2013? or Do I have to have a passing score released before 08/03/2013.

    Thanks in advance

You have 8 months before August 2013, correct? Why not just take your last exam next window (Jan/Feb)? Don't put it off and take it August 1, 2013 only to end up failing. I currently have 3 sections passed and I'm taking BEC as soon as I can (January 2nd). The quicker you finish this exam, the better.

From what I understand you just have to sit before that date. I also believe you mean 18 month window.

lol. 180 months would have been nice wouldn't it? Next year I will be facing various issues which will hinder me studying for the test. I know how much I need to put into pass and my schedule next year will severely restrict that time. I figure I'll be able to take the test May 31.

However, I am a practical man who considers all outcomes. Worse case scenario included. If I were to fail the exam, I want to make sure I'll have another shot at the apple during July.

Cpa runner is correct. I found corroborating elsewhere in this forum. One source came from moderator Kricket who (I assume) delightfully decided to not answer my question. I also sent an email to NASBA to make sure. Thank you all.

Every state is different. In NJ for example, you get 18 months, + until the end of the period. For example if you take it 1/1/2012 and pass, you would think the last day is 7/1/2013, but they let you go until the end of the period – 8/31/2013 (effectively 20 months!)

    REG- 2/12 - 90 | AUD- 4/12 - 94 | BEC- 5/12- 85 | FAR- 8/12 - 82
DONE!!! I used Becker Self Study & Ninja Notes/Audio

Novatrek – I am so sorry! I missed the thread completely until your question had already been answered. The typo in the title kind of grabbed my attention. Once again, I am sorry. 🙁
