I honestly don’t think i completed or got a full score on any of my SIMS. No way, no how. Maybe i answered the Research one correctly. Maybe.

Anyway, lesson is, NAIL the MCQ and you can half-a** the SIMS and still pass this sucker.

I only completed 4 of my FAR sims, half completed 2 others, and didn't touch the 7th. I expected to fail but got my score yesterday and it was a 78 🙂

Obviously I got lucky and the one I didn't touch wound up being the pretest sim, but still, if anyone is in a similar situation there is still hope.

I felt awful in my SIMs besides nailing the research one. However, I didn't leave any blank, and filled in everything I could, even if I was making some kind of guess.

I got an 81 on FAR….I had no idea what I was doing on the SIMS. They were out of this world. I guessed on a majority of them and I just made sure I had “something” in all the boxes….81??? I'm not complaining 🙂

I'd have to concur with the majority. I thought for sure I blew the majority of the SIMS.

Agreed. Felt pretty good about MC but awful on SIMS. Just focus as much as you can on MCQ and do your best on SIMS

People's experiences on sims are beyond bizarre. My sims on FAR were beyond random and VERY difficult. My sims on REG were laughably easy. Speaking to coworkers, others had exactly the opposite experience. VERY simplistic FAR sims and REG sims on topics that were pretty much nonsense. What's up with that?

i feel like im the complete opposite of everyone here. i feel like i bombed the mcqs for far and aced the sims. then again, i like the sims and feel like i have done well on them through reg and far.

I had some trouble with the MCQs, probably flagged 8-10 questions on the 2nd and 3rd testlets (maybe 5 or 6 on the 1st). I did think that the testlets got harder as I went through, which I hear is a good sign. However, I got about 10 questions on the same exact topic that I had only studied superficially and had to make an educated guess. The SIMs were all on areas that I was fairly comfortable with, but each had a twist that made it different from any problems I had prepared myself for. I didn't leave anything blank, but my weakness was probably with journal entries. I knew how to get the correct numbers, but I was guessing a lot on which account names to use. I left the test devastated, sure that I had failed. But I got an 80.
