Hi,

I posted this already but am not sure what to do. My exam is at 5 PM tonight and a friend of mine who is testing at the same testing center as me received an email that the testing center is closed today through Monday. I however did not get this email so don’t know if I should still show up. I called the testing center and there is no answer. Ahhh this is not helping with exam day jitters!

Ignore! He misread the email just closed on Monday! Phew… now back to my last minute cramming!

There is a list on the main page of the testing centers that are closed, where is yours?

Portsmouth, NH. I ended up talking to someone there and they are closing for Monday but it isn't up on the prometric list yet.

oh yeah, I think we're good up here until at least tomorrow afternoon. I'm just north of boston and I'm hearing our area will get a “strong noreaster” from about noon until 10pm tomorrow. Good luck this afternoon!

I'm supposed to sit for REG tomorrow 8/29 @ 2pm in NYC (#0040). The list of site closures doesn't list anything for 8/29. Does anybody know how or when they will let us know if the exam is postponed? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was scheduled to take FAR today at 4 in Albany. I got a phone call and email this morning from prometrics stating that they would be closed today. I am sure that they will notify you tomorrow if the test center is not going to be opened tomorrow or you could always call tomorrow for confirmation

I am taking my exam at 8:30 tomorrow morning in Boston a lot of trees are down in my area my cousins down the street just lost power and travel looks like its going to be hectic tomorrow. I really hope my exam gets cancelled.

@ Joe35y- Are you testing at the prometric on Comm Ave? Im testing there tuesday… let me know what the deal is if you hear anything

@CPA Man- I am testing at the one on wormwood street. In order to get in i need to take the T. Hopefully everything is up and running again. I am afraid of taking the red line in because who knows what type of delays are going to occur especially since i am scheduled for 8:30.

Joe I think the idea of having to take the T on my way to the exam would put me over the deep edge! Hope everything is running and glad I go to Burlington!

How long before your exam were you notified of the cancellation?

I'm taking BEC at 8.30 tomorrow morning in NYC, but the transit system is still shut down and I don't know if I'll be able to make it into the city or if my exam will be postponed. To top it off, all Prometric and NASBA offices are closed until 9 tomorrow morning.

Thoughts?
