    Anyone else out there struggling to get all the studying done as exam day looms ahead?? I’ve been apprehensive to read and post lately because it sounds like so many people are getting loads of studying done while I fell dismally behind… There are baby moths trying to do little dance steps in my stomach but I keep shoving them aside and trying to focus on studying. Last night I finally went to sleep btwn 2-3 am and set 3 alarms between 6:30-8:00 to try to get some studying in before work…unfortunately I kind of slept through them 🙂

    So how’s the studying going for everyone?

    Don't feel so bad, I always feel a bit uncertain close to my exam. woulda, coulda, shoulda is definitely a problem. I try to set reasonable expectations, and try not to beat myself up when I miss the mark. I just try to make up the difference the next day. So, you are not alone!!

    I always feel like I could have prepared more, reread my notes more, done more mcq's, etc, I am guessing that alot of people probably could say that.

    Keep going!! Don't lose hope. best of luck.

    Thanks Yankee. Truthfully I really didn't buckle down for this as I should have when I finished taking the last exam, but now I'm really trying to give it my best shot. How's your Aud studying going? I think that one was my favorite…

    I am right there with you! I am starting to freak out as my BEC exam in on Saturday and I feel lost still. My nerves are starting to take over and get in the way of my studying. I almost want to move my exam but don't think I should. I have the dilemma of a credit expiring in November. I took REG last month and wanted to knock BEC out this month so that way in the last window I can focus on FAR. I am just so lost in BEC land and this will be my 4th attempt at it. Maybe it is more the fear of knowing this is my 4th try and if I fail which I feel is going to happen right now I will feel like a total failure. O the joys!!

    Taking BEC too! I was also thinking of pushing it off but I figured I might as well try to take it now and see what happens – maybe I'll pass. I don't know how much free time I'll have in the fall since besides my current schedule I'm starting Grad school then, so I'm trying my best now.

    Good luck studying! Hope we all pass!

    Which topics are you struggling with the most? Those little tummy butterflies are taking over my life tonight

    Weellll – I can't exactly say which topics I'm struggling with since I haven't covered much solid ground yet. I'm trying to get through the information as well and fast as I can.

    I think the butterflies are out celebrating tonight.

    Back to mcqs.

    I'm having a hard time trying to study for the last two days before my FAR exam… I feel like I ‘know' most everything, so I haven't put in as good of an effort. There are still areas though that every time I come across them again I'm like, “Oh I totally don't remember doing this/memorizing it!”

    Hopefully my exam will not be as brutal as I'm expecting it to be… I'm probably wrong though!

    AUD - 85
    FAR - 78 (lol@ FAR Sims)
    REG - 85
    BEC - August

    @mla1169

    Good luck! You're almost through!

    @ScruffMcGruff

    I can't stand it when I think I know it but then come to questions and can't remember it…Crunch time before FAR (or any exam) is tough. Just keep practicing – you're almost there! Sometimes I end up surprising myself with the right answer, so you never know.

    Good luck!

    I think I'm going to try to put in another couple hours of studying tonight. Anyone else utilizing the wee hours of the morning for study time? I already asked various people to wake me up/call in case I sleep through my alarm clocks again! I've got tons to do at work and can't be late again…

    @Acct,

    I've got one of those jobs where if you're late even 1 minute you can be written up and then fired if it happens again. Gotta love the extra stress that that adds to my life.

    REG - 85, Rawrrrrrr FAR - 88

    Wow, T-rex, I've really got to count my blessings. I know I'm really lucky that if I come in 5 minutes late it's ok, and I'm grateful my boss is understanding about this and looks the other way. I'm usually on time, except that I overslept my alarm clock today so I was late. If my boss would be like yours, I probably would have left my pajamas on and just run to work 🙂 (If it were winter I could put a coat over it…I should keep this idea in mind for the future)

    I think being on time is very important and it says something about a person's character and how he values his time and other people's time. So whenever being on time is stressing you out just a bit too much, keep in mind – it's character building! 🙂

    I used to teach in a high school and I would take the city bus to work. When it was running really late (I left plenty of time for it to be running late) I would start getting very nervous, because if I weren't there it meant about 30 kids were threatening to roam the halls and disrupt the other classes.

    @Baseball –

    Just saw your post after I just posted-

    It's character building!

    Seriously though, when I'm scared of oversleeping I ask people to call me in the morning and make sure I talk to them properly and am out of bed. It's scary how a person can just oversleep, but I guess it's also an important message a person's body is sending to find some more hours for sleeping.

    Good luck at your new job!
