A friend of mine who took BEC and got her results yesterday. When she first checked she saw 74 and was devastated, then she checked again and saw 71!!!!! Then she asked me to check and i saw 68!!!!!

Has anyone ever had such an occurence happen to them?? She is confused and crying her eyes out!

What state are y'all in? I've never heard of this happening to anyone. I would call the State Board to verify that score and find out what is going on. This is crazy and should not be happening.

So I have a theory and I could be way off here. Maybe your friend didn't want to reveal just how much she failed by and said a higher score. Then she felt like coming clean so she didn't want to admit she lied so it was easier to say her score was changing. Has it changed since you've looked at it?

@JAM if she has not already tell her to call NASBA and call NYS instead of emailing. It will be much more efficient. Trust me.

NYS Board Number is 1-518-474-3817 ext 160

NASBA: there are two numbers 615-880-4200 or 615-880-4250

The NYS Coordinator is James Franklin

The reason I have these numbers practically memorized is for efficiency sake and because NASBA made a major error with my application that involved many phone calls to correct.

CIA: Done as of 2/15/14

I think a more likely theory would be that the 74 and 71 were guesses on her score and she asked you to check because she was too afraid to look herself. You were the messenger kiddo!
