    Peanut-I'm sure you got the 75+ you needed.

    Just remember the guy (I think it was Wang) who posted his HORRIBLE audit experience only to slap us with a 99 during last score release!

    Have a shot for me…

    Just made back from my four hours long AUD exam. Yes! I used all full four hours. I spent 2 hours on MCQs and 2 hours on Sims. After the exam, I felt totally burned and had to have a cup of coffee before I could have strength to get home. Really need some beauty sleep tonight since I have been sleeping under six hours per day in the past week. Hope I will have some luck from my comfortable tommy hilfiger red panty (designer luck?!). I did see some radom questions on MCQs. I feel a little bit of over prepared for MCQs since Gleim cover some subjects in way to many details. I was kind of worn out by that before the exam. Hope I won't be curved down again this time. (cross my fingers!). Sims…. I would say I feel I am always under-prepared for sim. The research question is very vague since you can use many different literatures in the database to support the answer. There is one tab is practically a FAR question. Unless you just finish FAR, there is no way you can remember how to do it on top of your head. Another tab is expand the normal AUD simple concept into a mission impossible. Unless you are an audit senior, I don't think a normal CPA candidate can answer it on top of her/his head. The rest four tabs are ok and searchable via the database. I think I am gonna take more rest and wear red panties till the score day on March 7.

    @Peanut cheer up! I am sure you did just fine! Most of us who think we bombed the test, come out just fine!!

    @CPAGenie – Sounds like you had a good experience! Wear those red panties straight until March 7th (don't wash them) lol

    @Peanut: Remember, some people have terrible experience with AUD and end up passing (with really good grades). I don't know anyone that has said to have done well on the sims, and yet most of those people have passed! Sorry about your bf, grrr jerk, I'm sure you will find a handsome new one very soon!!! And you can brag all that you want with your little license that says “CPA”!! whohoooooooooooo!! Don't get down, you sounded so prepared, there is a real high chance that you'll pass this!!

    @CPA Genie: Don't forget too that one of the SIMS doesn't count so since you're wearing your red panties until score release, I'm pretty sure that horrible one SIM is the one!!! And even if it isn't, you've definitely secured enough goodness on the SIMS and the MCQ, it will totally be a pass!!!

    @CPA Man: your experience sounded good to me! I mean, you did well enough on the SIMS and I'm sure you don't realize how well you did on the MCQ. There are always pre-test questions (maybe those were the ones you weren't quite sure about!!). Did you feel as if the 2nd and 3rd testlets were harder than the 1st one? That's always a good sign too!!! When I took REG, I thought I did horribly but ended up with 75. So ok, I can't really brag about that score but that's a pass and that's the only important part. You came in so close last time, this time will be the one for you!!!

    @Peanut,

    So sorry to hear that you felt bad about the exam. And then add a dollop of breakup—ugh, not a good feeling, I think the tequila shot was a good idea. BUT, (here it comes!!), I know this may be hard to hear now, I have to tell you that my Audit and REG pass were both a surprise for me. I really thought that the sims and mcq's were very much like the time before. I really didn't have a clue. It does seem like there are more people who feel TERRIBLE who pass, so take a deep breath (and another shot!) and give her mind a break. Then I would say that your breakup is probably giving you more of a negative feel overall, so it was probably not as bad as you think. I am going to get on you to pull yourself up by next Wednesday, you are going to need to be your perky, funny, happy self . So take the next few days to regroup, I am guessing you might be “caving” it, I totally get that, but keep us in the loop and let us know how you are doing!!! I have faith you will cross that finish line.

    @cpaman,

    I agree with Dousugar. You probably did better on the mqq's than you think. And doing well on the sims is key to passing. All I can say is that I know you studied hard and your exam experience sounds like a pass to me. I will be looking for your good news in March.

    @cpagenie

    I really think your experience sounds good. I totally understood you feeling totally burnt out. I felt like Audit sucked the life out of me. It sounds like you were well prepared and ready for the exam. I am feeling like it is a pass. I will be stalking the boards on score release, so I will look out for your post!!!

    @CPA Genie “normal AUD simple concept into a mission impossible” <<<<<, Exactly!!! The SIMs will take such an easy AUD concept and twist it into something that makes your freaking head spin! Ugh! I seriously could not have prepared more for this exam… Did all the Becker MCQs twice, read the book twice, flash cards a billion times, read the final review book, did well on the simulated exams, did ALL of the Wiley MCQs—plus several progress tests, did the Gleim free trial (40 MCQ), did the AICPA released questions. What more could I have done!!!!!

    Thank you Yankee and dousugar, and everyone else, thank you guys for trying to cheer me up, it worked! 🙂 Will do a spring cleaning.. and cheer myself up before the big interview Wednesday

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72

    @Peanut Your experience with AUD is so similiar to what I experienced with BEC only it was the multiple choice questions that I got so blankety, blank frustrated with! However, I did pass with a 75. Keep your chin up!!

    Did I read somewhere that your interview is with EY?

    The reason I am asking is that there is a senior manager(maybe even partner now) that used to be with EY in Atlanta and moved to Nashville last year. I worked with him or yearsssssssss when the company I work for used EY. From the time he was a staff one!!

    @candothis

    Are YOU in Tennessee? There's quite a few of us here, but I didn't think you were in our ranks.

    @peanut

    I'm sorry I missed the part about the breakup. I'm so sorry. That's a lot of change to take at once. Regarding your AUD experience, I'm serious… you passed. I really think the better you do, the harder questions they give you. They give awards out for high scores (not just the Sells award) and I think they have to give good takers the hardest questions to separate the top 100 or so. I think everyone who has 1) done their due diligence and prepared like they should and 2) who has had the test experience you describe, has passed. That #1 is crucial and is the reason I think you have nothing to worry about. Promise.

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88
