So I know Illinois is one of the states for which NASBA does not release the scores themselves.

I just wanted to verify, on February 6th when scores are released, do Illinois candidates get their scores from the ILBOE website, on the screen where the status currently says ‘W’ for waiting for score?

Are scores for exams other than REG typically available on the release date?

Yes, that is where you'll receive the score. You should receive all the scores on release day, unless you're on the BEC bubble and then it could take more time. I've never had a problem not seeing my score in the past, but sometimes it takes longer depending on when they receive the scores and if there are technical issues. Usually they are uploaded by around 8 a.m.

Is this your first score release?

If so, a couple of tips that I learned early on: Go ahead and get a good night's sleep while everyone is scrambling with the NASBA site. IL won't upload them until the next morning for sure. You basically have to wait for someone to get in the office and take care of it, and that's after they receive the scores from NASBA. You will only be able to see your score and a P/F with it; you'll get something in the mail a few weeks later with a breakdown if you didn't pass. Monitor the ILBOE on Facebook/Twitter to get the updates. They will tell you when the scores are being uploaded and give updates.

Thanks Jennifer. It is my first score release.

I was fairly confident walking out(not SUPER confident, but I would have said more likely a pass than fail), and am getting less confident as more time goes on. Ready for the wait to be over!
