    I’m wondering how similar our personalities are given that we’re all accountants or soon-to-be accountants. Here’s a fun little Jung Typology test:

    My guess is that we'll see a lot of INFJs (women) and INTJs (men). I could be way off though.

    I'm an ENFJ….I guess we aren't all the same…lol

    Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....

    Ya, pretty accurate. I mean, the way it's set up there are four categories, and in each category you are either one or the other. So if my only two options are “thinking” or “feeling” then im probably more “thinking”. but it really is such an over simplification.

    Extraversion – Introversion

    Sensing – Intuition

    Thinking – Feeling

    Judging – Perceiving

    Thanks for posting. I remember doing that back in college when I got a BA in Psychology.

    @hilaryh_88, Psychology is so interesting (much more so than accounting)! I think I'd enjoy studying it. I hope you get some good news on FAR next month!

    I'd have to agree with you that Psychology was much more interesting to study than Accounting, but as for making a job out of it, I think Accounting has a more positive outlook. I despise FAR. May your memory be keen on Monday! Good luck to you!

    @hilary,

    I can see why you despise FAR. Yikes! I've seen quite a few situations like yours in which someone passes AUD, BEC, & REG with in the first attempt or two, but repeats FAR numerous times. That scares me!!! I sure hope that the 6th time will be the charm for you as I can imagine you are beyond sick of FAR at this point.

    What has been the greatest difficulty with FAR for you?

    Good question without a sensible answer. Every time I take it I perform differently on the scoring breakdown. It's a crapshoot at this point. This time around I was really feeling good going into it and then they focused so heavily in the SIMS on what I would consider a tangential area that they had barely touched in my previous attempts.
