For those that passed all 4 parts- Do you get bored easily?

The reason I ask this question is because right now, I’m doing nothing but studying. That’s all I do… study study study. I keep saying that I can’t wait until all this is over so I can get my life back, but when I think about it, I can only see myself getting easily bored because I’m so used to constantly being so busy studying.

My mom’s friend, who is an M.D., even told me that when she was studying for her Medical Licensing Exam, all she did was study like crazy and when she finally passed it, she was bored out of her mind. I can see myself being the same way once I’m all done with this.

So for those of you that are all done with all 4 parts of the CPA exam, do you find yourself bored easily?

@jamesjohnson11- LOL! I don't want to be the next Cindy Simpson. Just give me my CPA and I'll be happy! I'd rather be bored than stressed all my life.

aahhh!!! how's that even possible?!? ugh, it's too depressing when i hear people say they get bored…

put these on your list: rosetta stone (learn spanish/french), join a city league (softball, basketball, w/e), go to your community college and take a wine class/culinary arts/pottery, join a dance class, learn an instrument, go to the library and learn about greek mythology or all the different wars, take up a self-defense class, tutor students in acct, do P90X, do some volunteer work, plan events for the weekend (hiking, biking, skydiving, camping, get drunk)… next time when you're studying and you wonder “i can be doing _____ instead of these stupid MCQ,” make a list of all those stuff and do it after you pass this test!!

you only live once… make the most of it

not at all. There are plenty of things I'd rather be doing than studying: playing sports, writing music, painting, going to the gym again, going out with friends

I miss all those things but what I don't miss is being unemployed or underpaid or not even having a career at all which is where I was at 5 months ago =)

@Herbieherb – I'm also playing WoW again.. and seriously thinking about taking on Donkey Kong on my Wii. lol I also have a Spanish learning book that has been collecting dust for a couple years..

As for the original poster's question… No, I didn't get bored. I did get a little depressed for a couple weeks. I felt like everything was going to change once I got my CPA, but really things just stayed the same, besides the lack of studying. Now I'm going to the gym and/or playing WoW instead of studying. I've also read several books, and now I'm working on a website. Nope, not bored at all!

My main task would be finding Peter Olinto and having coffee with him (as promised by him in one of the lectures).
