I actually see a Pass coming on May 3rd. Am I crazy? i prepared for AUD like i have not for any other exam that i have failed. I walked out of the exam feeling very strong on the MC and strong on at least 3/7 of the sims and okay on the others, not feeling like i totally was clueless on any of them.

I am trying to not get my hopes up, but for the first time ever, i see a passing score popping up in my head….but I do not want to be let down!

I'm pretty positive I didn't get a 59. There is just no way. Is t possible something wasn't submitted correctly????

    *50 is what I got.

How did I study? I watched all the videos and took notes. I also made notecards. Did all the Becker questions twice and all the Wiley tb questions. The last few week or two I did progress tests and random MC from all sections on Wiley TB and took notes on all incorrect answers. I also did about 40 min of audio a day as well as write ninja notes 5x.

Is there a chance it was loaded incorrect? I mean how could I go down 13 points. Feel so confident it was my best yet and at the same time do the worst I ever have.

Makes Zero sense. I just don't know AT ALL anymore. I can't keep explaining my failures it makes no sense to me or anyone else and another half yet has gone by and I haven't passed anything!

And I'm supposed to think I can come back and pass BEC with 28 days to go and only been testifying for it since 4/20?

I just don't know how to approach this ! Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me bc it makes no sense whatsoever to me!

Are you following this same process for BEC? Right now, my suggestion to you is like I said previously. Sit everything aside for tonight only. Set AUD aside completely for now and continiue studying for BEC. You are trending upward tremendously on that section!

After your BEC exam is over on the 31st take that evening off and the next day, start studying for AUD like you never have even seen the material. Listen to the videos again, do all of the homework three times at a minimum. I really feel like working the MC are one of the keys to sucess in passing this exam.

You have every right to be upset! Just know that you are not alone. There are folks here past(myself included) and present whom this test has kicked but they have got angry and kicked back harder.

    Don't give up!

What you just explained to do for audit is what I did February to April and I got a 50. So now what?

My dear JTF, I am so sorry!!!!!!!! It is awful to work your ass off, think you killed it, and not see a pass!!! Take the night off, get drunk or go shopping (I did a lot of both when I didn't pass in February), forget Audit and put all of your effort into BEC for 5/31!!!!!! I can 100% empathize with the pain you are feeling, but keep your head up and take care of yourself this weekend!!!!!!!!!!

    REG: 75 DONE 🙂
    AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE 🙂
    BEC: 76 DONE 🙂

JTF – how much time did you have left at the end of the exam? My guess is that you read the question once and answered but missed the call of the question. Always read Audit questions twice.

    B - Passed
    A - Passed
    R - Passed
    F - Passed

Pretty confused still. I basically did everything I was supposed to and instead of seeing like a 70+ I regressed big time. It just makes me feel so terrible about all the time I put in. It's very disheartening! What makes it worse is I actually thought I did really well on it. Now I take BEC in a month with far less prep time. I'm more confused than anything:-(. I hate this exam.

If you did everything right I would do BEC and take AUD after. The exam is a black hole so you never know what you will get apart from the general guidelines regarding % from the AICPA. Could be that it just wasn't your test. I happened to passed AUD on the 1st try (my only one) but when I was studying at the beginning I kept getting stuff wrong (as in almost all the questions I was doing). As one of the posts above mentioned, I wasn't reading the questions carefully enough. Even when doing SIMs I changed a ton of answers because what I initially thought was right, was incorrect when I looked up stuff in the AL. Just put it aside for now and focus on BEC. Come back to AUD with a fresh set of mind, do a heavy 3-4 week review, reread book, reread your notes, and keep practicing the MCQs. Just my humble opinion but it seems like you're really close so make the best of what you already learned and start fresh after BEC.

Also, I have tons of notes from my AUD study, and if ok to share I can send to you in case it helps. Maybe one of the moderators can chime in on that one.

    R - 74;88
    A - 84
    B - 74;89
    F - no study = 67; May 15 = 87 & done
