I actually see a Pass coming on May 3rd. Am I crazy? i prepared for AUD like i have not for any other exam that i have failed. I walked out of the exam feeling very strong on the MC and strong on at least 3/7 of the sims and okay on the others, not feeling like i totally was clueless on any of them.

I am trying to not get my hopes up, but for the first time ever, i see a passing score popping up in my head….but I do not want to be let down!

@Journey – Until you see that score, you have hope! And until then, we are going to call it a pass! I'm pulling for you! When you think you can't do this or don't believe in yourself, then just remind yourself of this “That crazy woman from Louisiana said I could do this and she believes in me, so she must be right, because she is just AWESOME!” lol

    I've got faith in you!

Never, ever, ever underestimate the POWER of visualization.

While waiting on my FOURTH BEC score, I kept seeing myself picking up the phone and calling my friend to tell her that I made a 74, hesitate, and then say plus 1. And that is exactly what happened.

While waiting on my THIRD FAR score(and final part), I kept seeing myself telling one of my director's that I was going to need his help with some paperwork, And that paperwork being him signing off on my work experience. At 5:15 on February 22, 2013 I had that conversation with him.

If you see it, you can believe it. If you believe it, you can achieve it.

Eeeeek I feel the same way! I had a dream the other night I got an 84! I'd be more than happy with a 75 though 🙂 this was only my second time taking AUD but I also was an auditor for two years so I felt good about the info overall. If only these wave 1 scores will hurry up!!!!! And I'm a snail mail state too 🙁

But I bet we did it!!!!

    FAR: PASSED!! 64, 68, 79 on 2/27/13!
    AUD: PASSED!! 73, 93 on 4/5/13!!!
BEC: PASSED!! 75 (phew) on 5/24/13!
REG: PASSED!!! 77 on 8/7/13 I AM DONE!!!!!

    Experience: got it!
Ethics Exam: PASSED on first try (what a waste of money)

I dreamt that I got a 90 on FAR and I didn't think that was at all possible, but I took it as a sign that I at least passed. Then when I checked my scores and saw that I did get a 90 I couldn't believe it. I think visualizing helped my with my last few tests, it just gave me the confidence I needed.

75+++ for everyone! I have a weird feeling a got an 88 on BEC I hope it comes true. In fact, I told my girlfriend the day before Aud results came out that I think I got a 99. Checked the next day and it was there. True story.

I failed BEC and FAR miserably in 2010 because I didn't take the exam serious. I came back this year intent on passing and I passed my first exam. Getting that first pass is a great feeling and it does relieve some of the burden and it gives you confidence that you really can pass the CPA exam. I look forward to reading your post about your first pass.

Thanks everyone for the support! In the past I thought I knew what it was like to do well only to be disappointed. This time it certainly felt different and as score release approaches, my confidence definitely feels like its at a different level than previous times. From 63 to 53 to 63 to a 75+ I hope! I know that I can pass these exams, I hope this time is different than the previous times.

How well do you need to do on sims to pass, majority?

@lsutigers03 – I'm in the same boat. I failed three exams in 2011 because I barely studied. This year I'm taking it much more seriously, and I passed REG! I was shocked. It felt so nice to finally pass (even though failing was completely my fault). I hope I can keep the streak going!

Well, morning of the score release and I feel much less confident than a few days ago. Is it because every time I woke up on this day I have felt a failure coming? Or maybe it's because every one of these days ended in a fail. Either way, here're go again: hoping for the best but apprehensive about another letdown. I hope today is the day I can move forward a step rather than be stuck in reverse

I got a 50. I am totally dumbfounded and have no idea what to do at this point. I don't know if I can keep going with this test

This was my time and instead it makes no sense.

@JTF Please don't give up. Take this evening off– totally. Even from your BEC studying. Tomorrow take an inventory of what you have done to prepare for AUD and what else you could have done. Your AUD score trended down, back up and now down again. Are you approaching the exam as if you only need 12 points to pass or 75 to pass? There is always something else you can do.. Are you using any kind of audio materia for AUD? I have two suggestions and hope you will do both. The first one is buy the NINJA audio for AUD and the second is utilize your OWN recording device. I bought a voice recorder and recorded every AUD opion, review, compilation, you name it. This way, you can make the most of every minute whether it be walking the dog, doing laundry, getting ready to go somewhere or commuting to work. I started studying for my CPA in August of 2010 and it was September of 2011 before I passed any part. It took me 13 exams before finally passing earlier this year. Please don't give up! You have invested way too much of your time to stop now@

And by all means keep visualizing yourself passing!

Used Becker used Wiley tb rewrote ninja notes 4x used ninja audio and went down 13 pts. Was consistently scoring 80+ on both programs. Thought I dominated the test and instead I got my lowest score ever. I have no clue anymore .
