    Hi,

I am beginning my FAR studying tomorrow and from clicking around it is pretty obvious FAR is not at fan favorite! I am using Yaeger and have the exam schedule for November 28th. I need to pass this one or I will love audit on 8/30. For those of you who have passed FAR on the first try would you mind sharing your study process with me? Thanks!

I'm also using Yaeger and taking FAR on 11/28. One word of advice – make sure you watch the mid-year updates before you do the videos (Yaeger told me to do this and I didn't listen). The whole framework has been updated and I learned the old stuff which is now stuck in my head :0

I take it tomorrow for the first time. My advice would be to not get frustrated the first time around because everything isnt going to click right away. Other than that, do as many MCQ as possible

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89

When you miss or guess at a practice MCQ make sure to read thru the answers and fully understand the answer. Don't worry if you don”t get everything down your first time thru, but do ID your weak spots as you go thru the material and make a list so you can be sure you give them extra attention during your review. Read thru your notes or do a few MCQ from prior sections each week to keep the previously studied material relatively fresh in your mind. Use a test bank. It will help get you used to the format you'll see and can help you with your speed. Time management is key on FAR. Set a schedule for the MCQ testlets that allows about 1 1/2 hours for the SIMS. It's better to make your best guess at a few MCQ rather than to rush thru or not finish the SIMS.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85
