I don’t know about you all, but I am quite nervous about the score release a week from today. Probably because if I pass, it means I am done studying, but if I don’t…

Trying not to think about it, but hard not to when it’s now a week from today. Not sure if I’ll check the night of or wait till morning and have someone else look for me. Feeling a bit more anxious about this one than past times, probably because I have no idea how I felt about this test. I’m afraid to say I felt good about it, but then again, I could have done absolutely horrible on it. My second testlet of MC may have gotten harder, but it was hard to say. My SIMs probably got more difficult, but I was already stronger in those than in the MC. I do know I definitely got the research question this time, compared to last time where I couldn’t find it and just put something down in the blanks.

Will have to just wait and see, I guess…

I'm in the same boat, if I pass audit then I'll be done. I felt audit was hard for some reason. It doesn't help that I'll have Bec expiring. I'm hopeful I passed audit but if I don't, I'm jumping right back into it.

Yeah, this is my 3rd REG retake too. Also, if I don’t pass, I only have a short window to retake before my FAR expires on February 28th. Does anyone know if they allow an extension if you take your last exam before one section expires but it expires while you wait for your score?

Same here. I've never been this close to done before and it's been a very long journey. I felt ok about my exam, and I'm just hoping it's enough to get 75. In my mind I passed and I'm done, so now it's time to pray that the outcome matches my feelings.

@Clockwork As long as you are waiting on a score at the time it expires, you won't need an extension. You just have to sit for the exam before the expiration date.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

Yeah, wrote to your state board and tell them the situation. They may grant you an extension

Clockwork – I hesitate to point this out (because I'm truly not trying to stress you out or be a jerk, I promise) but you can only take the same exam once per quarter. If you have to take REG again after taking it in Q1 (beg of Jan to Mar 10) you'd have to wait until Q2 (beg of Apr to Jun 10). While I certainly hope you don't need to take REG again, if you do you can try asking your state to extend your FAR expiration date.

good luck folks.. It is going to be ok either way..

as far as extension that you guys are talking about, they don't give any extension unless you went through something that you could not control like military duty or death in family etc.. doubt they will extend because you failed

I've entered into a wager with my manager… if I pass with one specific score, I'll have to pay him $100. If I do not pass with two specific scores, he has to pay me $100. So I'll either end up with a really nice bottle of bourbon to drown my sorrows, or I'm treating the office to happy hour. Either way, I am so excited to start sleeping. Like, f'real, y'all.

I'm not quite in the same boat….I still have 2 to take if I passed BEC 1/2/18. The score releases always make me nervous however… I just started busy season (audit) and I'm attempting to take FAR also 3/10/18. I bought a house in August and due to the late score release of Q3, really messed up my study habits. I should have kept going knowing that I felt like I passed AUD (which I took in July of 2017 and got a score in September).

Any suggestions on how to move on past a failure if I don't pass BEC this Feb 6 score release??

RightBrained – have you tried Heaven Hill Bottles in Bond? It's only like $15 but I've heard the taste is up there with the best

Waiting on AUD. I don't really care that much this time around, not like my first exam. I mean, I hope I pass, obviously, but I work in industry so AUD is not all that relevant to my job.

Funny story – I was at dinner yesterday with my manager and her boyfriend (she passed all 4 on the first try, I believe he failed 1 and didn't continue). She brought up the exam and I mentioned my upcoming score release. He says “Oh, we should go out and celebrate if you pass!” She turns to him with a withering look and says “She'll pass.” Cracked me up…

My state is does not have grades posted by the AICPA, I have to wait for the board of accountancy. Anyone know how much longer that takes?

Update I meant my state does not have grades posted by NASBA**
