@bmj2S, You can usually only use the “eye icon” cheat if you take more than one exam in a given quarter. So for example, I took FAR in November of 2018 and then took AUD on Dec. 8th, 2018. I got my FAR score on 12/10 and was supposed to get my AUD score on 12/19. However, on 12/18 I was able to sign into the NASBA Gateway portal, view my score report form for FAR (aka the “eye icon”) and saw that next to AUD, it showed “Credit” instead of “attended.” This is how I knew I passed that section before seeing my official score.
Again, it's not a “cheat” anyone can use but rather only individuals who have already taken an exam earlier in the quarter. So if you took an exam in early Q1 where you found out your score on 2/5, then you could use the cheat. If you didn't, then you cannot.
So for example, I took 2 exams this quarter (REG and BEC). But I took REG on 1/22 and BEC on 2/13. As a result, I didn't receive any scores on 2/5 but rather will have both scores released on 2/26. Since I didn't have any scores released on 2/5, I have to wait until NASBA actually releases the scores for me to see if I passed both REG and BEC. So in my case, even though I took 2 exams in the same quarter, I cannot use the “eye icon” to check my scores since my score report form for FAR/AUD, is no longer available on the portal. Hope that makes sense.
