AnonymousInactiveFigure I start this conversation since today is the cutoff day for the Feb 7 score release!
Good luck everyone, I really need the pass for AUD… Else, I will have to wait until August to find out if I am done with this journey!

NamstutParticipant@boothes18 https://ncd.nasba.org/gwprdv2/servlet/hgwcs01 this is the website. Have your course number ready and make sure you still remember your birthday after frying your brains studying! 🙂
The page will turn into a countdown clock, it's like waiting for the ball to drop on the New Year's Eve! The scores are released at 1 AM EST and the site crashes every single time almost immediately after the countdown clock reaches zero and the site content shows up, sometimes for hours.
AUD 7/6/16 Passed
BEC 9/3/16
FAR TBD

AnonymousInactiveThis might not be relevant to many of you but has anyone experience a same mcq being repeated in subsequent testlets? It happened to me and I believe I answered them both correctly. I have read some post saying that this is a way for AICPA to measure whether a candidate is guessing or not. What are your thoughts?

SomethingTimelessParticipantAnyone else surprised that the countdown clock isn't up yet on the NASBA page?? We're already close to 3 days and 12 hours away from release time!

AnonymousInactiveif MA is a NASBA site, do I still have to use the score release site, or I can just got to my cpacentral page to look it up?

RachelParticipantMan, this wait is brutal. I'm waiting on bec and it's my last exam. If I pass, I'm done forever.
The thing that's killing me is that it was my most stressful exam experience to date:
-Testlet 1, I'm feeling like a rockstar. It's not easy but I know what I'm doing.
-As I'm about to select my last answer, the servers go down.
-We end up sitting in the test room for AN HOUR in silence with nothing to do.
-Finally the test servers come back up (thank goodness, all my answers are there) and I move to Testlet 2. It's horrendously difficult. Every question is either super obscure IT or multi-step computation. There were at least 2 questions that I just had to give a wild guess on.
-I get a computational question on something that Becker had said was “too complex for BEC, you'll probably never see this on the exam”. Guess what I hadn't bothered studying.
-I take a break and grab a drink of juice from my locker. The prometric lady at check-in asks if I accessed my locker, I said yes, I got a drink. She says I'm not allowed to access my locker. This is my 7th time at this test center and I've been allowed to access my locker every single time. Another prometric employee speaks up and says that they've let candidates access their lockers in the past. First lady says well they're not allowed, but thankfully lets it go and lets me back into the test. I was seriously scared that she was going to invalidate my exam.
So all of that combined threw me way off my game and made me feel much more stressed than any of my previous exams. I've got my fingers crossed that I managed to pass, but I just cannot wait for the wait to be over.
AUD - 84 (4/16/16)

SomethingTimelessParticipant@Rachel – wow, that sounds brutal! And, I definitely understand the inconsistencies with testing center rules. Texas (TSBPA) makes me get a Texas-issued CPA candidate ID card. Literally NO ONE has ever asked to see it. I have even offered it to people and they say, “yeah, we don't honor that. Go get your driver's license.” Like, what is even the point?
Anyway, I'll have my fingers crossed for you on score release day! Good luck!

mjbey1sParticipantI don't know how much longer I can take this. I just want to know so bad if this is over or just beginning again.
Guess I am going to enjoy sleeping in this weekend because it may be over for another 60 days starting Tuesday…….

AnonymousInactiveMjbey1s- how did you study for the ethics? I am looking forward to it after the next score release.
February 3, 2017 at 5:27 pm #1453391
mjbey1sParticipant@ActionCPA, I contacted my state AICPA and paid for the book. They sent it to me in the mail, and then I submitted my answers online and got my score right away.
Some of the question are tricky, but mostly things we have all seen at some point during studying for AUD or REG. I only missed 2 questions out of 46.
I believe every state is different in how they handle the ethics exam though.

Meg267ParticipantNo countdown clock yet! Since scores are releasing on the 7th, does that mean they'll release Monday night? I'm CST, so it should be midnight for me.
February 5, 2017 at 12:01 pm #1454343
SomeSomeCPAParticipantI don't believe the countdown clock starts until 24 hours before release. I would expect the clock to be up at 1am EST tomorrow morning (2/6), 24 hours before the 1am EST release on 2/7. @Meg267 you are correct, CST release at midnight. If you don't get your score right at midnight, don't expect to get it till 1:30-2am CST since the servers always crash.

mad maxParticipantFingers crossed, good luck to everyone! I am worried I had a borderline pass attempt, but only time will tell.
It's been a while since my long expired 2011-2012 attempts and I started with FAR this time on 1/18. I am a bit confused as my anxiety is constantly going up as we approach score release, maybe someone can clarify this to me.
The score release date is on Tuesday the 7th, so when they say the score will be available earlier online, do they mean it will be online tonight after midnight (so technically early AM Monday) or tomorrow after midnight (technically Tuesday morning)? Does anyone know the approximate time to start checking and hitting refresh? 🙂 Any info is appreciated, thanks and again, good luck to all!

CruzerParticipantGive me hope and faith on Feb 7th. Need an AUD pass on my 3rd attempt (scored 70, 71 before). Felt the test lets got harder as I went along and I really felt like I nailed the SIMS this time as I gave myself plenty of time to use AL for the ones that I could. I do not want to take AUD ever again and have to wait 10 weeks for a score release. Fingers crossed for Feb 7th being a celebration day.
