On the Table of Contents for FAR 2010 Homestudy for FAR it says “Business Combinations & Consolidations (Pre-July).”

Does that mean things changed after July? And if so, what did they change to?

I think they meant post-July. Some things changed in 2009. You should be fine. I used Becker's post July 2009 and it had the same things that 2010 Yaeger's post July had.
