    I just found out I went from a 63 to a 67 in FAR. Now, I am scheduled to take AUD on the 9th. Should I stay focused and take Audit? Or should I go back to FAR?

    I am at such a loss. Eh, this sucks.

    Are you looking to keep in schedule with BEC? I think that is what I am going to do with FAR. I need a pass – confidence is a bit shot at the moment.

    Normally I would say just study for your retake. Since you are taking AUD this window though, just keep studying!

    Good luck!

    AUD: 83 (04/11/16)

    I just spent the last hour loathing and moaing and hurting my self. its over now, those things arent going to help me pass BEC, f it. I will cram extra hard now, take more days off from work. I get 15 days to F this BEC up, I am not letting my efforts evaporate.

    Right after I take BEC I will go back to CRAM AUD again, extra hard! take it early in Jan, by that time I will know my BEC score, if I pass, great, if I failed I will repeat this son of a f bitch until the end of time or my death.

    good luck to you, ;_;

    @ginja – i was struggling with the thought of taking FAR at the end of Jan because of the NTS for Audit not expiring for awhile. Honesty, the more i think about it i beleive i need a break from FAR. I think it has crushed my confidence. Although, i am a bit worried because of the time that will lapse while studying for AUD. With a 67 and a month of break really make a difference?

    @ahsq
    – honestly, i didn't the same thing. grabbed a beer, watched a show, and cried. Sometimes that is what needs to be done to get over it. Now, i am kicking into AUD – need to be productive. Do you think when I take AUD, would CRAM work for me or should I get back into Wiley and redo the whole program?

    Well, it was a bummer because i really thought i studied way more this time. Honestly, 67 is still a far way to go for a 75…….

    After I failed FAR I took an entire month off of studying. The key I studying for a retest is don't hit the parts that you were weakest in alone. You really need to just start over, and study like it is your first time.

    Get the ninja mcq for audit if you don't have it. Read every question, understand why you missed it. This test isn't easy, but you can do it!

    Thank you so much for the confidence! I am going to kick this test's butt because i am tired of it making me look stupid and being embarrassed. Eh, this darn test.

    I will take AUD and kick it's a$$, this way i have strong confidence in FAR when i retake in Jan/feb.

    Some folks can pass FAR with just NINJA or Becker. Maybe it's because I am such a dork, but I had to use my Accounting textbook to solidify some fundamental areas of Financial Reporting. There is just way too much material to remember, so if you can help yourself by unloading some of the memorization, should free up your brain for more productive processing.

    The chapter flashcards in Becker helped. I reviewed them multiple times after each chapter, and wrote them down on paper a few times as well. I ran out of time, didn't complete two sims, couldnt find the research question and ended up with an 83 last quarter.

    When I failed FAR, I was studying for AUD. I went ahead and took AUD. Once I passed AUD, it gave me a huge boost. So I passed FAR next month. FAR is by far the hardest. Please follow your original plan and stick to it. Good luck!

    FAR 72,67,79 (Roger+Wiley test bank)11/15
    AUD 80 (Roger)10/15
    BEC 80 (Roger)4/16

    @cessnapilot – I think you are right. I tried to do the way everyone does, but I don’t think it really worked for me. I am a problem person, so maybe I can develop a plan based on my learning style. Areas that I am struggling with, I can create problem to solve to help me gain the understanding. I do agree about having to take out the old accounting books. I believe I did this a few time, as well as looked up videos on youtube.

    – I think you are right. I started to think about it a bit the past few hours. I want to stick with AUD since it is only 2 weeks away. Then I will take a break and tackle FAR again. I might need a fresh mind for it. What was your first score for far?
