Exam Crash Question

    Hi everyone,

Quick question. I recently took REG and my exam crashed during the 4th Testlet. I had most of my answers done, and was just double checking when a box popped up and said something like, “Universal Test Driver has failed” and then my screen went back to the Prometric screen.

One of the staff was able to reopen my exam and I entered my launch code and everything was back to normal, and I only lost a few minutes, but I finished anyways.

So my question is, is that something that is going to make me have to retake the exam? And should I send someone an email about it?

On my state boards website, it says the exam was taken, just like normal.

    Thanks for the help!

Just to be safe, i would email NASBA and describe the problem you had. I had the same issue when I took FAR and they had to reboot at least 3 times before moving me to a different computer. On the paper they give you after you take the exam, there's something on there stating to email them if you experienced any issues. Their email address is on there too.

It certainly can't hurt to check but I thought that while you were checking out of prometric they did some kind of scan to make sure everything was “captured”?

I don't know if that's what I got or not. They just gave me a piece of paper with numbers to call and such to prove I was there. The one they put a seal on and sign.
