What’s the earliest number of days your exam score was released after sitting for a section? Do the target release dates mean the score absolutely will not be posted before that date?

The target release dates are pretty much set in stone. Used to be that they would release a day early, but that changed a few windows ago. Most of the time they post between midnight and 4am on the target release date…

Last couple score releases I've gone thru have been midnight day of. It's like waiting for the midnight premiere of a movie.

The actual time depends on the state, from what I understand. The two windows that I have been involved, it appears Illinois is notoriously slow in getting scores out. Maryland, for all of its government inefficiencies, actually runs a ridiculously well-organized Board of Accountancy. They release at the stroke of 6am on the target date… and actually answer your calls and respond to your e-mails to boot!!
