    Hello all,

So I’m going to be a under a huge rush to pass all parts of the exam by the end of the year. In California, they are changing the education requirements to become a CPA starting January 1, 2014. I plan on taking my last exam at the end of November this year.

Will I have to wait to get my score back before I am certified? I’m just worried because if I take it in late November, I don’t think score release will be in time, correct? Or as long as all my other paperwork is in and I’ve passed everything, will I be okay?

    thanks!!

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate
    Beat the 12/31/13 clock!

I am also in Calfornia and would think they have to have proof from NASBA that you passed all four of the exams and you have to get the Ethics exam done too. I have already been waiting a month since I sent in my application and I finally got my post card saying they are reviewing my app. I would think you have to get everything at least sent to them by the cut off date in order to make it.

    AUD- 72, 85
    REG- 74, 83

Are you asking if you have to wait for the final score to be released or after it is released do you have to wait until you get something in the mail or email letting you know your final scores? You have to wait until the scores are released to your state board and you know that you have passed all four before you can be licensed. You should check with your state board and see what their requirements are. In Louisiana I was able to send in the paperwork as soon as I knew that I had passed everything.

@sarita – from my understanding you must have your entire license application into the board by 12/31/13. So this would mean you will have your passing grade, your experience, and ethics complete. It might be a tight and stressful month but if you can get all that complete in one month you have a chance.

    BEC - 58('10), 74('12), 01/05/13 77 PASSED!!!
    AUD - 43('11), 66('12), 69('13), 74('13) 7/29/13 85 PASSED!!!!!
