Difficulty with the NASBA site with all scores released at once

    Guys,

    Has anyone thought about the difficulty we will experience trying to get scores with ALL of the score released at once. With 2 waves it was pretty difficult to get my score the night scores. I think this will put a real strain on NASBA resources with the increase in site traffic and incoming phone calls. This just doesn’t look like its going to be pretty.

    Last score release, the state of IL was waiting daysssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss for our score to post.. they had some glitch. There were too many scores released at once or something.. it was horrible.. I'm anxious to see what happens (hopefully next week ).

    It will be insane like mardi gras!! Just imagine every score from both months from all sections being released at the same time!! I'm pretty sure there will be some delays as in the prior window. NASBA should prepare for the mayhem to be launched on February 17th. I'm Loving This! (not)

    It just doesn't make sense. I am assuming they have atleast 50K scores to release. I would have thought they'd start releasing this week in small batches for the remainder of the month. I guess the AICPA could careless about congestion after they release scores!

    Maybe they want to test server capacity too. I remember it crashing last score release on Dec 14 and that was 2 waves

    Last wave in December was a nightmare. Mine was one of 13,044 FAR scores. FAR scores started rolling out late afternoon and I got mine at 4:00 am. There were hours at a time where nothing was being released. I can't imagine what it will be like next week.

    I think it will take a few days to get them all out with the batch processing that they do along with all the traffic.

    You guys are not helping my anxiety here…I haven't had the pleasure of receiving any scores yet as I just took my very first 2 sections this testing window so here I was thinking that after the RIDICULOUS DELAY that it would go smooth once they were finally released. Ugh…

    Last score release, was a blast. We almost crashed Jeff's server.. we were going crazy waiting for scores and posting our rants. When it comes to the score release, it is worse then actually sitting for the exam.. haha.. just wait.. you will see 🙂

    Score release week is so full of adrenaline rush, stress and rants about the AICPA scoring process, that nothing in the accounting world comes close to this crazy ritual we all have to deal with. You will see lots of forum members getting irritated with each other by any small reason, but its all because of the stress and tension we will be going through. Score release week is also a cause for low or no productivity at work, sleepless nights thinking about our scores and mad spouses (or relatives) since they think we are going insane over “a lil exam”. I'm always looking up for Jeff's updates since he receives secret information from his trusty ninjas ; )

    Friday at 10pm for me……..Puerto Rico still uses OLD NASBA, but I will use the loophole on Friday morning ; )
