I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but the target release timeline for this testing window is 6 business days after receiving all remaining scoring data. The target release date is December 20th. Is there a chance that these scores come out earlier than the 19th? If both the target release timeline and the target release date are correct, they are giving themselves nearly a week to just receive the scores.

I am doing the same thing, checking constantly. This is frustrating as all get out, but as long as I see a 75 or up, it'll be well worth the wait.

I graduated accounting in 1981, got married, got pregnant while preparing for the exam, dropped out, had 3 kids while putting hubby thru grad school twice, got divorced, finished raising kids as a single mom while working in public acctg. Now my baby is over 18 – I've FINALLY been able to concentrate on the exam.

Passed reg, far, audit, NOW GIVE ME MY BEC SCORE…!!

Someone asked this on the AICPA blog and the corresponding response:

Is it possible for the candidates who took exam in the window periods of 12/1-12/6 to receive score much sooner than the target date of 12/20? Also, are there still testing for other reasons administered this week(12/9-12/14)?

AICPA Communications said in reply to .

We expanded the Fall 2013 testing window for the Uniform CPA Examination through Dec. 6 as a candidate convenience resulting from the late Thanksgiving holiday this year. There are no plans to extend beyond that date. The target score release date for candidates testing between Dec. 1 and 6 is Dec. 20. It is possible to receive scores earlier than the target date.

I also waited until my three kids were in college to take the CPA. It's been a loooong 20 months. I took my last test (BEC) on Dec.6 and waiting for the score is pure agony – way worse than waiting for the other three. It could all be over just like that OR I am going back into CPA exile to study yet AGAIN. BEC was definitely no slam dunk for me. I absolutely dread the thought of having to revisit COSO ERM, foreign currency transaction hedges, OH variances, XBRL, COBIT (or anything in the IT section for that matter)….I refuse to acknowledge Xmas is 2 weeks away because I am so consumed with the outcome of this test. Thanks for allowing me to vent. My husband is a great support but I think he's getting sick of listening to me whine 🙂

It will be so amazing to finally pass and be done with this process. It sure is an emotional roller coaster (understatement of the year).
