I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but the target release timeline for this testing window is 6 business days after receiving all remaining scoring data. The target release date is December 20th. Is there a chance that these scores come out earlier than the 19th? If both the target release timeline and the target release date are correct, they are giving themselves nearly a week to just receive the scores.

I took my BEC test on 12/11/13. I am sure they are going to release all scores together.

@sanasuleman…. I think you're right. Why'd you test so late? Snow storm reschedule?

My brother took a test to get LEED certified at another prometric center the same day that I took my FAR exam, only he received his score instantly. I don't understand why a multiple choice test takes so long to grade by a computer. why don't they just come out and admit they scale it? It's the only explanation I can come up with.

Because they don't know how much each multiple choice question is worth until everyone has taken it so they can see how many people got it wrong. They base the weights based on how people did. So your score is relative to everyone else in the same window.

Whaa? I thought that the questions were weighted before you took the exam, not based on a curve.

No. It's based on how the other students did in the same testing window. The same question taken in a different testing window can be worth less or more based on how people did.
