I just read what I originally wrote and it sounds misleading, sorry!
To clarify:
If you don't get an exam score on the release day, you are generally borderline. I wrote today because today was a release day but multiple day releases happen most often I the other three sections. Last window myself and 3 people I work with took audit, all of us scored between 72-74. None of us got the score the first day. I read someone else on here got a 90 something a day or two after release.
Technically the test is not “scaled” but that is debated by many. Supposedly, some questions will carry a higher point value if a lot of test takers get it wrong. While this is not scaling your final grade, it is scaling a question. I believe this is why BEC is not released sooner.
