So if BEC is relased by AICPA to NASBA today and we don't get our scores until tomorrow night, what was the positive twist Jeff mentioned…?

I don't get it. Seems like this window is worse than earlier, not better.

He hasn't told us his twist. He did lead to the point that NASBA could start releasing on the same day that they get from the AICPA. That would be awesome! Wouldn't it Jeff?

Don't be discouraged about REG – Like Basia, I took it in Q3 and was SURE I failed. I had a complete out-of-left-field simulation that I completely guessed on. Walked out so discouraged that I almost just started studying again to re-take it. But I got my 2nd highest score on tests so far…so you never know! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🙂 and for BEC!

I am confused as well… everyone was talking about some good news that Jeff was going to share with us but I didn't hear the good news yet… I hope the good news is that we will receive scores from NASBA today.. That would be a great news!!!

Oh yes please let that be the twist! Although he did post on facebook that tomorrow night for BEC NASBA candidates is correct. But hopefully that was to throw us off…and then we'll be pleasantly surprised later today.

I have REG in one week and same day I am moving cross country and am yet to pack up the house, movers coming Tues… I need to focus on REG not waste time worrying about when scores come out!

i'm just chillin until i get my BEC score. I reaaaally don't want to take it next year and write 3 memos. but i'm not optimistic about it. i spent a whole week on variances when studying for it and then only had a handful of questions about it. had lots and lots of financial ratios though…which i had skimmed over because it wasn't really emphasized in the Becker lectures. guess i learned that lesson.

The twist is that because they are making us wait longer for scores that they are just passing everyone who took exams this window.

I didn't set a standard number of hours but I used Becker which was a 4 week course and I studied for an extra week so 5 weeks total. I went to all lectures, did all the homework and repeated questions I got wrong until I got them right and then did a progress test after each section (i.e. sections 1-2 after homework for 2, sections 1-3 after homework for 3, etc) and then the two practice tests at the end. I was probably studying 4-5 hours a night and then one full day each weekend, and a full weekend at the end. Hope that helps! Good luck with your score! Fingers crossed!
