Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. Waiting on my BEC score like many others. Has anyone passed BEC after feeling good about the test? I have also took and passed REG and i thought for sure i failed it and ended up passing it. BEC on the other hand came out thinking the test wasnt that bad (i think i got lucky with the draw, no real hard IT questions) But ive heard a decent amount of ppl sayin the thought they did good and have failed, so now i am getting alittle worried. (not that i was ever that confident.)

Thx and gl to everyone as we wait forever for these scores

Hey, everybody. Just so you know, this isn't the only thread on here. If you want to talk Big 4 jobs (which, FYI, aren't for everyone so don't flip out if you don't get a job there but kudos to you if you do), then start a new thread. I would *think* that people taking the CPA exam (and getting job offers from the Big 4) are intelligent enough to be able to A) navigate the website so as to start a new thread and B) realize that not everyone wants to sift through tons of posts unrelated to the thread.

Also, once again, let's explain score release. What has happened in the past is that the AICPA releases scores on a certain day near the end of the business day. NASBA posts them the next business day at 10:15PM. CA posts them the next day (business or weekend) very early in the morning. Other indie states have their own methods for posting scores. So if the AICPA releases today and NASBA and CA are doing what they always used to do, no one will get their scores until tomorrow.

Sorry for being a jerk, but it seems like people aren't reading the score release posts because this thread has been taken over by several non-score release topics.

CA won't release in the afternoon the AICPA will. In turn CA will be up bright and early in the AM

Calm down people. We know that scores won't be out until tomorrow for NASBA so who cares if we talk about off topic stuff to help people make huge decisions in their life. be considerate

I'm not saying don't talk about other stuff. But use another thread. When I had a question about something that didn't have a thread started, I posted my own thread and several people responded. Easy-peasy.

    @ crazycdn1012

I am sure that is is higher. I was referring to the passage that is at the beginning of an old (2006 REG becker book). I think that is a little higher that 10%, actually like 17-25%. It could be up to 30%, I think that would just depend on the soucrce that is relied on, and the time/quarter ending that the is coming from.

Similar to the “Rent is too damn high” party we should start our own political party called “The CPA Exam grading process is too damn long”. Thoughts…

lol keen observation Herb. We can only talk about the slow score process so much. Don't worry, that's on all our minds.
