I just called NASBA. They said they have received the scores from the AICPA and are releasing them to the states, but not all at the same time. So I dont know what those Facebook posts were all about! I think those say that the AICPA gave them to NASBA, but not necessarily that NASBA gave them to the states. The only thing they can guarantee is that we will get it by Dec 31. For the CA people, I called the board and they said NASBA pushes it to our clients portals. They dont do anything.

So what about NASBA saying on Twitter that there will be more scores released? Wouldn't that fall in-line with what some states had been saying re: about not having scores? It seems ridiculous to me that you would type “window closed” after rushing and pushing through four score releases to then have to go back and deal with angry mobs of accountants. I'm so confused.

Man…i pay very high state tax, housing, gas, cig, etc. and this is what i get??? glitch on the system and possibility of getting score at the end of month?? no wonder CA is going bankrupt…

I passed FAR!

This definitely reinforces everything that you hear about the scoring process being a crapshoot. I was almost positive I would be retaking this in 2011. I felt just ok on the Multiple Choice, but took too long there. I got to the sims with only 50 minutes left. I didn't know half of the questions, left one Written Communication completely blank (100% blank! I realize that only one is graded, but still…) and probably knew about 30% of the rest. I frantically selected accounts for the journal entries, just trying to fill as many blanks as I could with no time to think about the problems. After all that, I come out with an 89! Couldn't be happier!

Moral of the story…. don't give up hope 🙂

No this does not sound right.

It is contrary to everything they have told me in the past.

prior to today, they always told me scores are posted directly to your account from NASBA. They always said that they never touched them and they could in fact post on a Saturday. So go figure?
