I don't think the loophole works. I got my failing score this morning, and it still won't let me register.

I think what kills me is that they are only making this process more difficult for themselves. You know what keeps 18000 candidates from hounding you about their scores? Telling them ANYTHING at all about wtf is going on with them. If ILBOA would just post something saying, ‘we have not received scores' or ‘we are in the process of posting please check again in the morning' or anything indicating what we should expect, then I wouldn't feel the need to call.

I am from OK & am waiting on my AUD score. Since we are on the old system I would think the earliest we would see our scores would be tonight around 9pm (not sure why on the time, but last window that is when people received their scores the night after they were released by AICPA. Hopefully they do not have the trouble that they had for the last release I didn't receive mine until 6 or 7 days after they were released and then the day after they were put on the computer I got the score in the mail (which proves there was something wrong with the computer system, but of course they don't want to hear that).

BEC 7/20/10 88 (90 hours)
AUD 8/27/10 73 (65 hours), retake 11/22/10 81 (75 hours)
FAR 10/28/10 80 (157 hours)
REG 1/7/10 extended to 1/17/10 78 (130 hours) I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ILBOE is the Illinois Board of Examiners. ILBOA is also used to mean the Illinois Board of Examiners because their website is ilboa.org – not sure of the reason for the discrepancy between the real name and the website.

I totally agree! They should at least post a note on the main page. This is ridiculous.. Or at least have a message about it when you call there.

The Board continues to receive scores for all sections of the CPA examination for the OCT-NOV window. Scores are posted as we receive them. Please do not contact the Board office asking about your scores. We will post additional information as it becomes available.

Why?? Why is the score release process so inefficient with this exam?! For the CMA exam, parts 1-3, you find out your score immediately after you finish. Granted, they are all multiple choice, but so is BEC! CMA Part 4 results are released 4 weeks after the end of the testing window and you get the score in the morning…none of this click and refresh nonsense…

Have you received a score at night before? When I have received scores it has always been like mid-morning (10-11 ish).

Pretty much I have no respect for the OAB cause any time you try and ask them for explanations they give you no answers.

I am waiting on Audit as well.
