I still don't have mine from 10/4 in CA for Audit. I had been hoping to get it before I took FAR yesterday so that I could gauge my studying as AUD was my first exam. What a gigantic mess this all is and for the amount of money that we pay to take the tests, I just don't understand what the problem is. Does anyone think there is any truth to worse scores coming out later? BTW, there was an audit score releases yesterday, which when combined with CA's posting lag, would mean tomorrow morning. I'm still hopeful, but more realistic. Has anyone NEVER received a score for a section they have taken? That is honestly what I am more concerned about; whether I will EVER get a score.

    AUD - 99 (10/4/10)
    FAR - 92 (11/29/10)
    BEC - 87 (1/24/11)
    REG - 90 (5/30/11)

I took my exam 10/4 (AUD) from VA and still haven't seen a score posted…I think I just decided to move on and start studying for REG

Plus I haven't seen any VA post recently, so I just gave up…

    FAR: TBA: Studying
    REG: 07/23/11: Studying
    BEC: 07/10/10: Passed (8/23)
    AUD: 05/23/11: Waiting

I am worried about the same thing. I asked a rep with the CA BOA if they would look up my account to make sure this wasn't just a clerical error or issue with the website, and they refused. All they say is scores are released randomly… blah blah blah.

I had the same experience last QTR here in CA. I sat for AUD (my first CPA exam experience) and was wave 1 eligible. However, my exam score came out in wave 2 along with my FAR score. I almost postponed taking FAR due to the uncertainty. Apparently, I had a new simulation on the AUD exam, though you wouldn't know it from reading the simulations (neither seemed to have newish material). The powers that be will only commit to giving you your scores by the end of the testing window. It seems unfair to me: I believe they should release all scores on a date announced in advance. People that took AUD up to 10 days after me received their scores ~ 1 month before me and I have read of worse cases than mine (people who took an exam very early in a window (the first days) who were pushed to the end.

    AUD - 7/31 - 83
    FAR - 8/27 - 91
    BEC - 10/30 - 90
    REG - 11/27 - 95

LADavid- well you passed at least, so it was worth the wait! I don't understand why having a new simulation would push your score. And if so, at least let us know not to expect our scores early! I agree, set a date, and release on that date. Well I guess they have set a date…. the absolute last day of the testing window….. how generous of them.

Well I can't wait anymore. I have to start studying for FAR in order to take it before busy season hits. I guess if I failed REG it will have to wait for next spring….. when I have already forgotten it all…. yay.

The grading is complicated, but involves comparing how candidates do on the questions. With a new simulation, I believe they need data in order to assign point values. Apparently, they want enough data on candidate responses from an entire testing window to assign point values to new simulations. I don't REALLY know if we are talking about entirely new simultions or just newish simulations, but having a new(ish) simulation is cited as a reason for pushing an exam score from wave 1 to 2. That's my understanding of it….

    AUD - 7/31 - 83
    FAR - 8/27 - 91
    BEC - 10/30 - 90
    REG - 11/27 - 95

    @dtf51983

He posted both wave predictions at the same time. Not sure if he has revised his estimate recently, but originally he estimated the releases to start on December 15 (BEC) and to be done before Christmas. I bet it's the first post in this thread after he talks about wave 1.

    Edit: The predictions were:

    BEC–December 15

    AUD–December 17

    FAR–December 20

    REG–December 21

    AUD(8/3)-87
    REG (8/31)-90
    FAR (10/18)-92
    BEC (11/30)-89

Is anyone else still waiting for AUD in CA? I took mine 10/29 and still haven't received a score
