Got my AUD score in Texas this morning, 84 – and with that, I am done! Thank you Jesus! Anyone feeling discouraged you CAN do this exam, you can finish…it is an endurance test!!

Hey guys I took Audit on 10/3. It was my first CPA exam ever. I just got my score today. I failed with a 70. It sucks to fail but I am going bounce back strong. On my performance report, it said I did weak on Internal Control and Information which is half of the exam. I also did badly on the simulations. I did comparable on the multiple choice and communication. Any suggestions on practicing simulations? I am disappointed I failed but I got to imagine going through the material the 2nd time will be much easier with the base of knowledge I obtained studying the 1st time. Am I correct? Thanks for the helps guys. I really appreciate it.

Kcampbellred: keep strong, a lot of people failed at least one section. i failed in my first exam BEC and when studied for retake, a lot of things made sense and I was able to pass. First time, it is difficult not only because of the exam but also it is first time facing the format, time pressure and other things that you don't have it after the first time.

Totally normal, cpa test is not a speed race.

Thanks okc_9698. I am sure you will do fine. I am using Becker and I got to say it prepared me really well for Audit even though I failed. The reason I failed is because I didn't practice simulations and I knew going into the exam Internal Control was my weakness.

The mistake I made was thinking I could study for both FAR and AUD at the same time. Bad decision on my part. I failed both sections. I am just going study for one at a time from now on. I am planning to retake FAR In Jan. 2011 and AUD in Feb. 2011.

Still waiting in California….. took REG on October 1st. CA BOA keeps telling me scores are released in random order, but I don't remember this being the case in previous windows. Why would a test taken in early November be scored and released before a test taken on the fist day of the testing window.

This is defenitely the worst window I have ever experienced…. 60 days and counting!!!

Also just found on the AICPA, for the first 3 quarters in 2011, no scores will be released until the close of the window. YAY. Gotta love these people. Complete incompetence if you ask me.

Got a 73 on Audit. I was 3 for 3 so far and now I gotta take it next year. I'm so mad right now.

Hopefully more AUD scores released today means I'll have a score on Wednesday. The waiting is not fun.

It seems like they are releasing scores differently. Will there be a Wave 2 or are they releasing on an “as completed” basis? I took REG on November 14th and was just curious if it's possible that I may receive my score earlier than the typical mid to late month wave.
