First post and new member. I stumbled across this website because I took REG on 10/04/10 and had not received my score through last weekend and I was searching for answers. I passed BEC on my first try in July and decided to take REG in early October even though I was working 60+ hours/week at my public accounting firm and finishing my last Master's of Accountancy course. I finally received my REG score notification email on Monday at work. I debated about reading the email because I take AUD on Monday (11/29/10) and didn't want the result (pass or fail) to influence my studying. I remember leaving REG feeling completely hopeless. I ultimately chose to open the email on Monday and found out I failed with a 74. At first I was like, “Okay, I'm one point away”. However, it has really been eating at me the past couple of days especially since I mostly focus on taxation at my job. Of course, I specifically remember not focusing on one specific subject a few weeks before REG and what do you know my exam had a simulation covering that subject…fml.
I have been studying like a mad man since Monday for AUD. In fact, I am almost over-killing my preparation because I have started to second guess easy practice questions. It just sucks knowing I was one point away from passing two sections on my first try. I'm thankful business formation/structure is switching from BEC to REG because I greased that section in BEC. Still sucks though because retaking REG means more money out of my pocket and another month in seclusion.

REG - 74, 82 (02/28/11)
