Please let NASBA release BEC scores concurrently with the AICPA today…. What is the likelihood of that happning?

Wouldn't it make sense if that is the rumoured ‘good twist'?

Ugh!! I did a good job of keeping on task this morning, but this afternoon is proving very difficult to get much work done. Thank goodness Twitter is blocked here at work, that gives me one less website to keep refreshing!

Considering this is the last testing window before the new exam in 2011, there was likely a bunch of experemental material on the exams we all just took, maybe it makes sense that its taking longer than ever before to get these grades back. I certaintly don't believe this is just coincidence-that it's taking so long and that this is the last window before the exam changes. There were also probablly more people than ever taking the exam in this window for that reason as well. I'm just hoping my REG score is in before Thanksgiving and that is slowly becoming more and more doubtful..

I'm convinced Jeff's super secret is that all the scores will be released at once, so I'm not surprised that they haven't been released yet, and this would also allow them to all be released by Thanksgiving. The only things that makes me think I'm wrong are that 1) I'm making this up and 2) I don't know if the NASBA website could handle it. But being that I'm in Illinois, that second part doesn't really affect me.

All this talk of no scores before Thanksgiving is really depressing – I don't know what I'd do! This is the last one and I just want to put it behind me.

As for the question of how much you studied to get a 90+ on a test….I didn't set it at a certain hour-limit but I used Becker and watched all the lectures/did all MC homework until it was all correct/and took a progress test after each section was completed (i.e. did a progress test on sections 1-4 after section 4, 1-5 after I did the MC for section 5, etc.) it seemed to help re-inforce the material. At the end I took both practice final exams and hoped for the best! I really do think Becker is a great study system but it's the only one I've used so I'm a little biased.

At this point I'm hoping for a FAR release byFriday – a little too optimistic perhaps.

Oh please don't say that….I sure hope REG comes out before Thanksgiving – I can't imagine they want that task on their to-do list when they return from the holiday either…I hope….

@herbert7890 I've thought the same thing! I mean, they have to get some sort of enjoyment out of stringing us along. What kind of self-respecting professional certification test doesn't have standardized score release dates? Or at least tell their candidates when scores will come out? This is a special kind of hell only accountants have to go through.
