Why would a new simulation push you to wave 2? How does that affect your score? I also am waiting on my score for FAR which I took 10/21. I've heard people say a new sim pushes you to the next wave but I never understood why…

Not enough data to base your score on, they like to see how others do on that same simulation

@Bob – You could be right on the idea of Wave 1.5 for borderline scores being less prevalent than it is in Wave 2.5, but my Audit exam that I took in July was released in Wave 1.5. True to form with the .5 releases, I was borderline (74), which is as frustrating as you can get when you're only one point away from passing your last exam (or any exam for that matter, but being one point away when I had three in the bag was hard on the psyche).

Yes I have friends in Colorado who got their scores for FAR. No one sat for REG though.

and did they all pass with more than 80s. Just trying to see if this theory of more than 80s and 90s being released today is correct.

New Sims push you to Wave 2 so they can compare all candidates that got the new sim and ensure they weigh/grade the new simulation fairly

I have seen scores between 75 & 80 and also below 70……personally I dont think that thoery works, but you can never be sure with NASBA & AICPA…..

I think it is funny that some people say they know they didn't get a new sim… How exactly do you know? So either you had the sim previously or you discussed exam material that you shouldn't have discussed with others and had the same sim as people who received their scores. Nobody truly knows the grading process… Who knows if even the aicpa understands their own process!

Hi, so I know everyone is still freaking out about wave 1, but I am excited about wave 2. I wonder if it will be delayed due to the higher volume of testers trying to get in before the exam changes. Either way, if I pass REG, I am DONE and will probably play halo all day to celebrate. Either way, good luck to you all

All my three exams (FAR, AUD, and REG) had simulations with many different unrelated tabs.

I always was in wave 1.

I think sims have been that way for a while.

For anyone, like me, who took audit – are we expecting scores to be released tomorrow? I'm taking REG Tuesday and I'm still not sure of I want to look at my score before going into my test.

Maybe Jeff will have some news for us first thing in the AM.
