    It worked for CT and NY as far as I know. But I don't know if it works for all states. Sorry. Plus I am not even sure if it still works.

    I hear ya kobebryant168. I'm waiting on my AUD score so when you get your BEC score I should follow in 2 days. I have BEC to retake on Thursday and was really hoping to get good news before to get a little confidence push. Looks like even if BEC scores get posted on the CA board website tomorrow, AUD won't be posted until Thursday.

    BOooo!

    Good luck on FAR.

    I am from Texas (an indie state) and the loophole has never worked for me. I think it's just NASBA states that it works for.

    @cpabrapster

    Thanks for the insight. I still don't fully understand the difference between a NASBA and non- NASBA state other than one gets scores earlier than the other. Correct?

    The loophole makes me nervous. I took a peek at it and considering the amount of info it asks for, it seems like it could be tracked pretty easily and potentially get someone into trouble. I know, I'm paranoid.

    Nasba states check their scores on NASBA.org website and that is why they can check the loophole (but I am still not sure if it works for all NASBA states)…

    other states get their scores directly from that state or some other organization (not NASBA)

    @ThechnicConcepts,

    I tried to use the Ohio Loophole and when I try to reregister for AUD, I get a message saying that “We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process”. Now I have already passed 2, and already registered for the 4th. What do you think this message mean?

    @ MC-FutureCPA

    From what I understand, if all you're waiting for is the last section, you don't need to enter any info at all. If you passed the final section, it should give you a message right away that says you passed all parts and can not re-register. If you want to view which sections are greyed out, ie. you haven't taken 3 parts yet, then you would need to fill out the info.

    The difference in NASBA vs. non-NASBA is how involved the state wants to get in the score distribution process. Non-NASBA states get the scores from NASBA and then post them directly to their state board website or send the score by snail mail. Maybe it has to do with monitoring, statistics, etc…who knows. And no, I don't think you're paranoid at all. I think it's counterproductive to collect sensitive information to verify your identity in order to grant you access to your insensitive information. I'd rather have my grade leaked than my maiden name, DOB and SSN.

    I'm in ND, and I get my scores directly from the state board.

    On a different note ,I just saw some tweets about early bird states. Do you know, if I'm not in a NASBA state, does that mean that the AICPA releases directly to my state board?

    Probably Couldn't and Wouldn't Want To Pass Again!!
