Are we guessing that BEC scores will be available to NASBA candidates tomorrow? Since Jeff said that there is a twist and the process is moving in the right direction…, isn't likely that AICPA and NASBA will actually release on the same day?

    I hope so!

He's putting the CPA behind a real name. Sounds like he saying he's a CPA to me. So everyone that gets on here should know who Bob is? OK

    mike01,

    who cares?

He's not going out to clients/employers saying he's a CPA.

    relax man.

mike01, at what point does it cross the line? I am neither agreeing nor disagreeing with you on what you're trying to get at but I'm curious on where that line is.

    Examples:

    California CPA

    John CPA

    Mr CPA

    Bob Moritz CPA

    My Moms a CPA

Do any or all of those indicate an intent to convince anyone that the user is a CPA? Is using the word CPA in your username allowable at all then?

    Sigh….

Since you obviously didn't google it enough, hah.

Bob Moritz is the lead partner at PwC. It is a joke of an alias…

    Calm down.

At work we were recently informed that we (well, not including me since I'm not a CPA) all had to pull the CPA designation from our email signatures. Because if we were emailing a client located in another state that we were not licensed in (which happens frequently) it could mislead that person to believe that we were licensed in their state.

    Just more food for thought.

Seriously everyone! I know that this is RIDICULOUSLY stressful, but we are are here to help one another and make this process a little less terrible.

On a more positive and encouraging note…

Moo.com (which has the coolest selection of business cards) is having a sweet sale this weekend. I ordered myself some business cards with CPA after my name to keep me motivated! Now I have to pass if I ever want to hand those babies out! (which will safely be kept in my house… don't start yelling at me!)

FAR 91 AUD 91 BEC 81 REG Oct 2011 is the plan

I don't think it is me that needs to calm down. I simply asked a question and apparently a few got offended. Its not me with the problem. Who cares Italian? Why don't you call the real Bob Moritz and see if he cares if his name is being plastered over a forum. Surely he will think it is funny too.Shh, listen, I hear him laughing already.

In the words of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, relax 🙂 Everyone loves 80s references right? Everyone just needs to relax, it is all going to be okay. We are all going to pass the CPA, and hopefully we will all be able to put CPA after our names.

Hope I pass AUD though, I really need this one.

    @Alexintown

Totally agree, we should all calm down, waiting for the results are really frustrating.

Maybe for me it is even more, as I am an overseas CA candidate and each time I sit for the exam it cost me 2 weeks from my annual vacation and $4000 for ticket and accommodation + exam fees. So let’s share the good thoughts and enjoy that part of our life which will be memories as soon as we pass.

We will just remember these days and laugh about so lets it keep fun and cool.

    Good luck to everyone here.
