    Anyone from MD yet? MD and VA usually release close together–the anticipation is making me REALLY unproductive at work…

    @Chicpamom

    Sorry to hear about the mishap. If you don't mind the wait for the score thne i'd say go for the 1/3/11 date to get it out of the way. Scores will come out in one wave (after the window closes) for the first three windows in 2011. You were very close to passing so I doubt you would need much studying to pass. Plus, it appears that you write well so that should give you an advantage on BEC in 2011 because of the added writing emphasis. My assumption is that candidates who take the exam in the first quarter will have a slight advantage during the scoring process because the AICPA will have less statistical information on the new questions on which to rely during the scoring process. If anything, I'd expect them to really curve those scores.

    @Kobe,

    I'm right there with you. Just a few points shy (and this was supposed to be my last one). Now I'm back on the study train with BEC and AUD (lost that one). With that said, stay positive and know that 2011 will be the year. BEC is a monster but at some point it will all have to come together.

    CPA Gods – thanks for making my morning ever so delightful. I am looking forward to the walk of shame into my office this morning with the red puffy eyes from my morning crying session. It's going to be such a blast explaining at my review next month that the reason why my billables were much less than last year was due to days off for studying for an exam that I couldn't pass.

    AUD - DONE (then lost it)....now WAITING
    FAR - DONE!
    REG - DONE!
    BEC - RETAKING (4/30/11)

    @Kobe, I'm sorry about your score…I feel so bummed as if it was my score 🙁 Don't let this get you discouraged from kicking butt on FAR. Let it fuel you to study like a mad man over the next few days. My best piece of advice is know Nonprofit accounting (it's pretty easy compared to Gov't acctg) and know as much as you can about Gov't acctg since you know those are for sure topics tested per AICPA. I didn't know any of my Gov't accting and barely scraped by with a 78. Anywho, good luck, we are all rooting for you!!!

    @ VAactgGrad

    Thanks. I keep asking my coworkers for advice and they're giving me blank stares. :/

    I think I”ll go with my 1/3 testing date. Worst case scenario I can retake it 3 more times. I won't lose credit until November 2011 (which I don't plan on even being an issue). Geesh failing sux!!!!!!! This day is already a wash. lol

    Thanks for all the congrats (and checking back in this morning after you already got your scores!). I'm on the cheerleading bench now for the rest of you! I hope those indie states start releasing!!

    Thanks for the support – we'll all conquer this brutal exam!! Good luck to those waiting!!

    Chicpamom- I agree with the other post- go for the earlier date. It would just be easier to keep the information fresher.

    stplover8972- I am really sorry to hear about that. I was in the same boat of losing my AUD if BEC did not go well. I hope the next go-round is better.
