Kobe, I didn't pass FAR or BEC my first go round but 2nd try was much better. Memorize all your ratios any and all are fair game. That cost me my first try.-

Didn't pass FAR my first time around & waiting for my second time around for BEC, too. The only one I've passed the first time, so far, is REG.

actually if i made any one can too, it is just not your lucky day.

keep it up, and focus on the FAR. it is an inch deep and a mile wide.

so it is all about the speed and focus, and if you are using Becker belive me the real exam is easier than their questions.

Kobe, you'll be fine. Don't freak out at all. Remember, you don't have to know everything. It is OK to get questions wrong and it's OK if you are shaky on some areas. No one feels 100% confident going in or coming out of any exams. Just study hard and you'll do fine on FAR. As for BEC, studying the second time and going through everything a second time, it'll be like night and day. You'll nail that one on the second try.

The trend seems to be nervous about far but passing, confident about bec and cutting it close.

So it's the morning after getting my lovely 73 and my eyes are still burning from my night long crying marathon. So let me ask you guys:

I obv need to take it again next window and will do it the first day in January that I can (as I'm in public accounting and my busy season starts 1/10). I'm not exactly clear on what is changing on BEC besides the fact that they're adding 3 SIMS.

I heard something about score release is changing as well as the passing grade. Would you guys wait to take it to see what the format is like and the new logisitics of the exam? Or do you think I should still go with my 1/3/11 test date?

@kobe – keep your head up. It took me 6 times to pass BEC and just this time I did it.

@Kobe – BEC was definitely the hardest for me. I studied MORE for BEC than FAR and check out my scores, I did worse on BEC…. that test was just a beast and there's no sims to cushion you 🙁

I have no doubt you'll do well on FAR. A lot of people have BEC as their lowest score. Keep your head up!
