nickc1028MemberMeant to post this in the FAR discussion.. /fail
But to keep it on topic… There isn't much I wouldn't do to get my grades today
I cringe every time I hear Peter Olinto slurping down whatever the hell he is drinking in the F lectures
Just thought I'd share that

Tini326Membersamissmiley – I took FAR in July and I didn't feel good about it either. Many people have told me that they didn't feel good leaving and passed, so I can only hope that happens to us as well 🙂 This waiting is destroying me right now. We need to get these scores!

indiancacpaMemberHai all,
This is my first post.I am doing cpa from Colorado board. For the last window, i wrote Auditing and Regulation. Its killing me for waiting for the results. I studied more than 200 hours for each subject. I have very bad luck regarding the scores.Probably i am not handling the exam properly. Always my score is very near to the pass mark. I did MCQ's well in regulation but not simulations. I did simulations well in auditing but not MCQ's. I am depressed to see my results. Unable to continue my further studies.
I am a chartered accountant from India and presently staying in California. Could anybody suggest me how to improve my career here.

jomarieParticipantI WANT MY SCORES NOW!!!!!!! So I know whether I can move on with my life or go back to study. I am glad I'm not studying right now, my life has gotten crazier in the last 2 weeks.
Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley

AnonymousInactive@Allyson “You can't re-register with NASBA for a new NTS until you receive your score.”
That is so intensely unfair for this window. There ought to be an exception to those close to expiration.
@james__w
Loophole? To reregister prior to receipt of scores???
About to go crazy myself when I hear Tim saying “again” x834792345 per lecture, and “Now it's time for some multiple choice questions. Good luck!” Aaahhhhhh.
You're pretty close to passing scores already so you just need to fill in some gaps it appears. Do NOT get depressed with your results. Plenty of us get 50's and 60's our first attempt at some (or all) of the exams and pass the 2nd, 3rd, or more, time around. What do you use to study? You may want to supplement.

katelynParticipantWhy is my anticipation and impatience worsening as we get closer to score release?? Right after the test, I was pretty much obsessing over how I thought I did. Then, I relaxed for a little while. Now I'm going nuts again. C'mon, AICPA! Score faster (and more leniently)!

AnonymousInactive@katelyn “There's no sense in a) dragging it out or b) wasting precious time…”
vs.
“Now I'm going nuts again. C'mon, AICPA! Score faster…”
You crack me up! Hahaha. Interestingly, however, I agree with both your posts. This window has been torture. Several of us have been waiting 80 days now. EIGHTY. Ten days shy of three whole months. Torture.
Torture.

AnonymousInactiveI took FAR so long ago that I might have forgotten everything by now… hoping for a pass 🙂
September 13, 2011 at 6:53 pm #295988
KasiaSParticipant@katelyn, I'm in the same exact boat as you are. I took FAR, stressed about my performance for a few days and then threw myself into BEC studies and almost forgot I was waiting for FAR score. Once I was done with BEC, I was beyonf worried about my potential score but soon relazed and accepted there's nothing I can do now. What's done is done…
Now… I'm a friggin' ball of nerves. The closer the release date the more I panic and imagine all the worst “what if” scenarios. I could barely fall asleep last night because of these nagging thoughts. I just want my score so I can be put out of my misery!!!

AnonymousInactive@james_w – I have never heard of that before but nothing surprises me. At least you passed! It would be nice to go ahead and get another NTS. I just tried and it wouldn't let me re-register. No changes to Oasis or anything in the last week.
Is it me or is anyone else having issues with people grating on their nerves? I know I am just stressed about the score release.
I'm trying hard not to go postal on people asking me if Thursday is too late to hand me their information to do their partnership return.

james__wParticipant@AlmondCoins–when it let me re-register, I was trying the loophole. It was a pleasant surprise when I received a passing score. Again, the loop-hole has a 75% success rate with me.
@Allyson–I was very happy to ask for a refund. Yesterday, a partner put 38 990s on my desk, so I feel the same way you do. Hopefully, I am done after we get our grades, but I am pretty sure I failed FAR.

katelynParticipant@AlmondCoins I'm taking my own advice while I go nuts. Studying for AUD…which by the way is almost relaxing compared to studying FAR. This is nearly a bad thing since I have so much extra time to be checking the forums and twitter every five minutes. 🙂
