    If I am lucky I will be drinking my bottle of ginger wine and listening to some good music…and then on the weekend I will probably get drunk on some heinekens!!!

    I'll be pulling out the tequila if I end up passing. Or I'll be pulling out the tequila if I end up failing. Either way, I'm pulling out the tequila. I'd much rather prefer the former, however!

    Waiting for these scores is the worst. The past two times I've taken a section, I always saw people walking out of the testing area with huge smiles on their faces–these people were taking the GRE and ALWAYS saw most of their scores as soon as they finished. So, naturally, I would curse them under my breath for finding out right away. And the Prometric employees would always laugh as I did so.

    Waiting on my last two scores: Reg and Audit. It is all I can think about. Definately felt better about Reg then the last time and I only need a few points so crossing my fingers. Audit I flew through and felt confident so we shall see. As we all know, it can go either way no matter how it seems when you leave the test site. Ugh! I just want to be done with this awful exam so I can have a life! Gotta start studying for Reg though just in case I have to retake both in Oct because I am losing the worst one (FAR) on 10/31/11. =/

    @nickc1028 – Put me down for the biggest Long Island out there!

    I will be drinking champagne and making s'mores over the fire pit that my review books are burning in. Anyone recommend a good champagne to go with s'mores?

    Hmmm..maybe I should go with Bailey's instead?

    If I pass I will be drinking Champagne and if I fail I will be drinking Bloody Mary's. I'm afraid to buy the champagne just yet. I figure with an NTS that starts with 460 I will be getting my score the day after everyone else so the liquor stores should be open. I don't want to jinx anything.

    Nice responses all. I'll probably do my usual Scotch w/an ice cube, or four. These exams have messed up my social life and I've become my own best friend. Can anyone else attest? 🙂

    P.S. This forum really is a form of group therapy!

    I will enjoy some welch's bubbly cider. I am looking forward to scores to get out of the holding pattern. I want to enjoy free time again, but hesitant in case I need to retake AUD. So ordering AICPA ethics tomorrow to fill in some time.

    I don't have an “real” friends any more, you know the ones I'm talking about, the kind that sit in your living room and have a conversation with you and drink your booze. The ones I had have dumped me or maybe I dumped them for the CPA Exam. Either way I have made quite a few cyber friends who actually know what I'm going through. They also have the sense not to say “Well so and so passed her beauty school test the first time. What is your problem with this test? Maybe she could give you some test taking tips.”

    Kricket, I know exactly what you mean. My personal favorite is when friends ask to hang out and I have to politely decline due to studying. They then ask, “Well, when's your next test?” “In a month!” is usually my frantic reply. “Dude. Studying is not an excuse if the test is a month away,” they say.

    If they only knew the truth about the evils of the CPA exam.
