    My Oasis status date changed yesterday. It was 8/25 and now it says 9/7. No score though. Wonder why it changes? Usually it changes when scores are released from the AICPA.

    I'm such a freak when it comes to this.

    What's OASIS? Is it state specific or do I have one? I'm from Indiana.

    OASIS is where you can check your status with NASBA. Indiana is a NASBA state. Here's the link to OASIS:

    @Allyson & MQcpasoon & CertifiedPainintheA:

    Hi,

    I saw you guys' status dates on OASIS all changed, but mine remains at the same date as of July 22. Does it mean i failed the exam? i think it's safer to be the same like the majority at this moment. OMG….so scared, definitely not positive for the beast REG at all.

    by the way, thanks for the link, i didn't know how to check it before.

    How does one determine their Candidate Number? Do I need to call those friendly folks at NASBA?

    FAR - 86
    AUD - 78
    BEC - 84
    REG - 68, 67, 8/4

    @mattsmeesh

    Candidate number is your Jurisdiction Number. usually 6 digits. you got it when applying for the exam.

    Yeah my OASIS now says 9/4/11, but Im not sure what it said before that.

    it also says:

    “All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received.”

    I don't think the date changing means anything to us right now. It's too early for scores. Probably some internal updates or back-ups.

    @yankee, it made my heart drop too!

    @soontobeacpa2 Exam credit goes by the date you sat for the exam, not when you get your scores back. So if you had a section expiring on 8/31/11, as long as you sat for your other sections by 8/31/11, you won't lose credit (provided you find out in late Sept you passed of course!)

    @ Allyson, I'm thinking the OASIS date changed because of a minor change in NASBA's computer system—maybe programmed in that the testing window is now officially closed and/or NASBA's computer system is ready for when AICPA gives them scores (even though that won't be for another 12-14days or so)

    still scary lol who knows? my application date for the NTS was back in march

    @allyson,

    totally! kinda like that one ride at Disney world……the one where you are in that elevator and then you drop but your body is kinda flying out of the ride. yikes.

    @noscores,

    you are probably right….have to say that just seeing any change reminded me that it is GO TIME. which is actually pretty scary…..I want to know, but then again, perhaps ignorance is bliss???!! hahahaha
