    @hilaryh_88. I felt like the FAR MC's got harder and stayed harder throughout. I felt like I got atleast a 90% on those when I left the exam. I can tell you though that when I say I bombed the SIMS, I mean really badly. I would be surprised if I got more than 25% of the questions right- they were all way out of my comfort zone. For AUD and BEC I felt like it got harder and then easier again but still waiting on scores on those.

    FAR- 75
    REG- 82
    BEC- 73, 79!! Its over. Am I dreaming?
    AUD- 74, 74, 88

    CO NTS#453….Haven't yet received my BEC or REG score…im already re studying the REG anyways as I CHOKED when i saw the reg sims on the exam…im expecting a 40 as my reg score

    so i have a question to ppl who passed REG in 2011, and ppl who have sat for it in 2011 and did well….how do you prepare for these sims when they arent even covered by becker, wiley or gleim??????

    I am back on the forum for this testing window… I am waiting for my FAR score this time and have postponed BEC till Oct 8th. My FAR eaxm was so hard. I could not believe how ridiculous the SIMS were as well. I feel like I am in the same boat as many!

    @mandy8041,

    I had to edit part of your post above. We need to be careful about exam disclosures. We can't get into the specifics about what you saw on your exam.

    Hopefully you did much better than you think 😉

    Per @NASBA on twitter this morning: “FAR and REG scores should be released beginning this week over a 7-10 day window.”

    I want to know what the big hold up on those two are. They did a big dump on BEC and AUD, but are going to slow-release FAR and REG?!? This is torture.

    NTS #457 - Northern Virginia
    FAR - 08/2011 - 86 - Becker
    BEC - 10/2011 - 83 - Becker
    AUD - 11/2011 - 84 - Becker
    REG - 02/2012 - 85 - Becker

    @markhany,

    the Sims on REG actually probably saved my score. I did stronger on sims. I never even practiced sims when studying (used Wiley books). I would say just get the MCs down and try to use the resources in the tabs to help with answering the sims. Having enough time for sims I think is key.

    Maryland Candidate:
    REG: 73(11/2010) 84 (01/2011)
    BEC: 65 (5/11) 01/22: 79!!
    AUD: 85 (08/2011) FAR: 81 (11/2011)

    It's their standard response: it doesn't mean a long wait (other than the one in your mind), it only means they know nothing. They said the same thing right before audit came out on Friday.

    We should see some new scores today. If not, def tomorrow.

    AUD 90; BEC 94; FAR 7/1/11; REG 8/9/11;

    Thx for the advise….never thought the resources tab could help and I think Wiley is much better than beckerbecker is just too summarized and would do well as a second review if there is sufficient time

    I am waiting for FAR sores as well and I am being hopeful even though I am not confident in a passing score. The exam I had the first time I felt was a lot easier and I didn't pass that one. This one I felt was WAY harder than the one I took before so there is no way I could pull this off 🙁

    markhany – u probably did better than u think on REG. Ive felt similar walking out almost every exam.

    On REG, you cant do much to prepare for the SIMS. Just know the MC as well as you possibly can and that info will relate over to the SIMS. Do the practice SIMS to just get a feel for it, but just do as many MC as you can and leave enough time to work your way through the SIMS

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89

    I have to retake REG bc mine expired.

    But I'm worried.

    Every single person who took the new REG is telling me the same story: The sims were killers.

    How can I prepare for them when even experienced tax accountants are having a hard time and there seems to be no good study material??

    *sigh*

    FAR- Harder the better… which means your grading system is higher… So hope for the best.. MY MCQ were good but SIMS for not that good…

    I'm anxiously awaiting my FAR results. I didn't come out of the test feeling confident, but the more time that passes, the more I think I may have pulled it off. Good luck to all; hopefully we won't have to wait much longer!!

    REG - PASSED
    BEC - PASSED
    AUD - PASSED
    FAR - PASSED

    DONE. 🙂

    @shezanm ~ I hope that you are right! But even my MCQ were really tough I thought. I don't know what it was with this exam, like I said when I took it the first time I remember flying through my first testlet in like 20 mins. 2nd and 3rd were a little tougher and SIMS were ok. This one was the complete opposite! I don't get it…
