@LITTLEH86 – I found this on the AICPA website yesterday, because I was curious on how they grade the exams. They really didn't say anything about SIMS but the MCQs was interesting to me. And the CPA exam is not curved based on their explanation.

Tarheel: Just use common sense. Of course the exam is curved. Look at how eerie the pass rates are each quarter. I know there will always be outliers, but it's too consistent to say otherwise.

@BeanKeeper – I'm also waiting on AUD & REG!!! I took REG 4/28 and scheduled AUD for 2 weeks later because it was my second time taking that one so I figured I wouldn't need as much time to study. I felt really confident about AUD but not good at all about REG. So I'm obviously hoping for 2 passing scores today but feeling like I had to have at least passed one!

@onlyreg I have common sense and honestly I don't think it is curved. Why would a National exam be curved. If you can't pass because you don't know the material you don't need to be a CPA. I wouldn't want someone doing my finances because they received a curve on the exam and say “they know what they are doing.”
