@CPA Soon when I first stared in 2011 I took BEC and FAR and got a 68 on both. I know now that I didn't study nearly enough. When I passed FAR last May, I was shocked. Then I took REG and BEC in the last window of 2013- and failed both. I got a 69 on REG and a 73 on BEC. I don't know if this will work for you but when I got my score report I looked at the areas that I was weraker, comparable, and stronger in (I'm talking content areas- not MCQ vs. SIMS) and I created a spreadsheet. I ranked them by content area %- so if individual taxation was more heavily tested then federal taxation legislation, and I was weak in both, I studied the individual tax piece with more focus. I also saved the areas that I did comparable or stronger in for the later part of my review. Then I went back and did every single chapter in my study material for the week leading up to the exam- focusing heavily on the areas that I was weaker in. I also layered in the NINJA audio, video, and flashcards. I really struggled with BLAW and that helped me get a better grasp on it.
I have no idea if this will work for you- it all depends on how you study. But this worked for me. If you want, I can send you my spreadsheet and you can see what I did.
I know if sounds incredibly anal- but I really like to plan…. 🙂
